Such a lovely local café! Has lots of delicious looking items in the cabinet to choose from. Great, friendly, fast and professional service. Nice décor set up inside, complete with local artists offering their works for purchase. Nice seating outside, both in the front and back. Really enjoyable place for a coffee

Mitchelli's is a family owned and operated cafe that pre-quake was located in the city, nestled in Poplar lanes. Now Mitchelli's Cafe Rinato (meaning reborn in Italian) has opened at the Tannery. You will find all the old favourites, including a variety o
We visited the Tannery in Christchurch and opted to have a light brunch/lunch. My wife had the all-day porridge and was delighted with her choice. I, on the other hand, opted for the cheese, ham and tomato croissant which sadly was not so good - dry croissant which did not seem fresh. So, mixed feelings.

We visited for breakfast and sat outside. It was delightful. I enjoyed the creamy mushrooms on toast. Best I have had anywhere in the world. A very generous serve with full-sized mushrooms, not cut in a yummy creamy sauce. The others enjoyed porridge with dates and a fruit compote. Large serves with many positive comments. The staff was attentive and friendly. Busy and very popular. Highly recommended.

Modern cafe serving speciality grade coffee, high quality breakfast & lunch in a relaxed, light & clean space. Room for groups or snug corners to hide away. We roast, brew & serve beautiful seasonal coffees from around the world! Sit in & take away. Lots
One of the most keep secret coffee shop in Christchurch. I was in the coffee early on having breakfast meeting with potential clients. Coffee and breakfast list is great. And the staff is amazing. They roast their own coffee and created most of the foods onsite. Highly recommended place ( I have very high standards as a hospitality consultant). Owners should be proud.

Working in town and closeby it's not often you see this place quiet. Morning T can be a mission with long ques so make sure you get there early. Good and consistent coffee - nice range of baked goods and an onsite kitchen for other meals. Good value alongside the rest of the CBD coffee shops.

Hello Sunday is a delightful cafe set in one of Sydenhams oldest two buildings. It has been lovingly restored by owners Jonathan Spark, Yasmeen Clark and Chris Penny. Drawing from its previous incarnations as an old Post Office then Sunday School to the o
Thanks so much to Chris and his team. This was by far the best brunch weâve had in years. We enjoyed the beef cheek hash (the kimchi side was the best kimchi Iâve ever eaten). The Shakshuka was delicious - star of the dish was the preserved lemon sauce. The coffee was amazing. I indulged in the mimosa cocktail - totally awesome. Would consider moving to Christchurch to become a regular here !Dear Missbossyboots,Wiw thank you so much for the acknowledgment and praise, (love your TripAdvisor name).Ive shared your review with the staff and they were very happy. That shakshuka sure is something else.

Stunning food in a stunning location. Rushani's food is always interesting and always delicious. Focusing on sensational lunches in our landscaped garden, pop by for an excellent coffee, handmade food and service with a smile.
The diversity (and rotation!) of the pies, salads, cakes and other incredible and nourishing food is reason enough to visit Lyttelton. I now go to the Lyttelton market, with the specific goal of popping in to Rushani's for another treat.During my last visit I had a divine ricotta, sun-dried tomato, basil and camaralised onion tart - simply the best food I've had at any café. There is a lot of bad coffee being served in café's across Christchurch, fortunately this is not one of those places! Optimum balance between caffeine hit and intense flavours, and consistently good.Staff are also very friendly - quick service, good banter and smiles. Couldn't ask for more.Really, you should go there as soon as possible.
