Our first visit to Vibe and it was a little disappointing. Food was very average. Decor was lovely and potentially lovely ambience but it could do with a bit of background music as you can hear what the people on the next table are saying.

I went today for lunch with my partner and I can honestly say this was one of the worst meals I have ever had! 1. Carrots and parsnips- wet mush, tasteless!2. Mash potatoes-grim!3. Roast potatoes-hard as stones!4. Sprouts- withered, hard, over cooked!5. Gravy awful!6. Turkey ok7. Ham hard on the edges, like rubber!8. Stuffing actually made me feel sick, I canât explain how bad it actually was. The management need to get a grip, food like this should not be allowed to leave the kitchen! We are very sorry to hear about your experience within Cafe Alana. We take all customer feedback very seriously as we are always looking to improve our service and food selection. Please get in touch with ourselves by emailing - [email protected] so we can investigate this review in more detail.

Most dishes reasonable. The wrap with chips was good. However. Oh dear. When your complaint that the base of the baked potato is as hard as the road is met with âyou seem to have eaten it allâ when there is slightly less than 1/2 of the skin of the spud looking at you, there is no point in continuing. You lost customers today. And ones that might easily have come back and encouraged other to do so.

Called here after 3pm on a Monday and as they close at 4pm they still served us ok. We had scones and coffee. I would highly recommend the rhubarb and ginger scones - delicious. Presentation was excellent- butter, jam and cream. Staff member serving us was pleasant.

I've visited Kitchen a few times over the last couple of months and usually with baby in tow. Staff are very helpful, rearranging furniture to make space for highchair and then storing buggy. They do a wee bowl of mash, veg, gravy etc for toddlers. Seems to be a very popular spot and understandably so! Highly recommend a visit.
