Had lunch here with my dad and brother. My brother lives in Los Altos, so he recommended this place. Glad he did. It was quiet, great food, and good service. Really liked it and hope to go again in my next visit to the Bay Area. I shared my lunch with my dad, we had the tuna melt. Although I never had an open face tuna melt (everything on one piece of bread; not like a traditional tuna melt sandwich), it was really good. I also liked the interior, kind of modern, very clean, and overall a nice atmosphere.

At the Crepevine we take great pride in providing the freshest, healthiest, ingredients we can buy, such as organic, fair-trade coffee, ocean raised Canadian salmon, and 100% natural beef that has never been given any antibiotics or hormones. Most of our
Get in a queue because you are not going to get that TASTY that easy especially on a weekend.Once a seat of your need is ready they'll take your order. Delicious assortment to select from and the portion sizes are great so one might need to be mindful of their appetite. A place usually bustling and noisy so not for the peace lovers there!

If you're a fan of local breakfast spots, check out The Village Pantry in Los Altos. There's nothing too fancy here--just really good eats that are cooked well and served with a smile. A total lack of pretension and a commitment to service make the place a standout.

Friends wanted to try Hobee's ...and it doesn't take reservation.....the place was packed and we had to wait 20 min...(on a Sunday, b4 noon)...not too bad...Parking lot is small but we were lucky enough to secure two spaces....A wide variety of breakfast items and all very good. Most items come with their famous and yummy coffee cakes (cranberry or blueberry). Service could be sporadic esp. if you ended up in the small dining room in the back. Food made the experience worthwhile. Thanks so much for your visit and kind words!

BRIAN'S is a very welcoming, hometown restaurant. People are friendly, it is clean and well-lighted, and the service is great. The menu features good, old American favorites, serving only breakfast and lunch. Portions are adequate without being too much. There is plenty of parking, and has easy handicapped access.

I had the # 1 for breakfast. The All American. 2 eggs, 4 sausage or bacon (bacon yum) Hash browns or Home style potatoes (like the potatoes) have onion and bell peppers. Toast and coffee included. Never had a empty cup, that was fantastic! Nice people. Good food. Small place but liked it a lot. Get there early. Won't be disappointed.

Three of us loved our choices at Joanies. I chose the Hawaiian French Toast, minus the bananas, thick sliced brioche, grilled with a light touch of caramel, served with grilled sliced fresh pineapple and warm syrup, wow!! Others also thought their choices were great. Service was quick, and servers kept the coffee cups replenished. A storefront cafe' that is award worthy.

Tom's Depot is a community staple in Los Altos that serves up freshly made, family-style breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes. We are known for our delicious omelettes, burgers, pancakes and Cal-Mex specialties like Chile Rellenos, tacos and more. Enjoy you
Too many breakfast places serve only monster-size breakfasts, this one is different and better! I don't like eating 2000-calorie breakfasts, so I appreciate that Tom's even has a "PeeWee" breakfast with one pancake, one egg (over easy), and one slice of bacon. That plus a generous cup of fresh mixed fruit, and I'm happy and can enjoy along with big eaters. I come two or three times a week! It's a friendly diner, with tables and chairs, airy and open, big windows. During the week it's a place where customers are reading, and enjoying coffee refills after breakfast...

Finally was able to go to Esther's German Bakery after hearing so much about the place. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. To begin with, I am not sure if Esther's is a bakery, café or restaurant. It is very small inside and tables are packed together with a deafening noise level and the place lacks air conditioning. Ordering is at cash register and off a wall board. I had the wurst lunch plate; the wurst and sauerkraut were delicious, but the potato salad appeared to be commercial made and heavy on the yellow mustard. I truly expected German potato salad. Bakery items were limited to three cakes all pre-sliced. The staff did not know what they were so I did not have cake. I did have a pretzel; very hard and nothing exceptional. I will say the staff, while young and somewhat flustered (and very hot!), were very courteous. Parking is impossible due to location (El Camino Real/San Antonio Road); I ended up parking about eight blocks away. Doubtful I will make a return visit.

This is a good place for solid basic breakfast. Nothing that is super special, but will be satisfied when leaving.
