My wife and I called here after a recommendation from the Waterways Museum. It is situated in a quirky and colourful lane that leads to Gloucester's magnificent cathedral.Fairly small and slightly old fashioned but brimming with great eats and drinks. Also the gentleman (Kevin?) serving customers proved to be charming, cheerful and friendly.Great coffee and cakes! Child friendly too. Highly recommended.

9 of us stopped here while canoeing down the Wye.Lovely garden and pleasant surroundings. Shame about the girl serving us. Every question or request was responded to with disdain and rudeness. It actually became pretty funny, how someone can work in the service industry and behave like this is beyond me. In all seriousness, service is absolutely awful. She was unhelpful and sarcastic. The menu was out of date and when we tried to order she would literally sneer and tell you they didn't sell it. We have to guess apparently, maybe it's a game to keep customers entertained? Doesn't work.It took us 3 attempts to get a jug of water, we even offered to pour it ourselves. Eventually we filled our glasses from the bathroom. If the place was busy I could understand, but there were only us and 1 other table.Food isn't great, overpriced for what it is.My advice would be to bring a packed lunch!

Popped in with hubby for a light lunch (panini with salad) and a coffee each - £15. Loyalty card for hot drinks (buy 9 and get 10th free). Pleasant service, clean environs. Small but well-stocked deli. Bought 2 sausage rolls to take away, hubby loved them. Unisex toilet (key is hung up in a small box near the counter).

A fresh and Healthy salad bar with really good coffee and Home Made Cakes, Soups and Flans (Vegetarian), where all products sourced locally where possible and baked on the premises. We are DOG FRIENDLY and a Ross on Wye Tourist Information Point and offer
We needed somewhere to stop off for breakfast. Google search and trip advisor reviews lead us to Mandy Moos. It's very quiet there and food was cooked freshly which took nearly half an hour.Food quality was ok (I personally didn't like the sausages) and portion size was good but it certainly wasn't as good as the trip advisor reviews lead us to believe.Unfortunately it was just a pretty average cafe. Plus it was really cold there as although we closed the front door, as we were leaving we notice that the back door was wide open for the owners dogs to be able to go in and out. Thank you for your comments Mandy and Jess

Very impressed by the food quality, value and portion size. Cheerful and friendly service and yes they do accept cards now. It would be wise to book ahead as this is popular with local people and we have heard from different people that this is held to be the best restaurant in town. The roast lunch was wonderful, with delicious roast potatoes and an excellent assortment of vegetables. The steak and onion pie had generous filling and crispy golden pastry and was much praised. We also greatly enjoyed the chocolate roulade and cherry pie. We felt very welcomed as a family with young children.
We are regulars here, it is a little cafe inside a working bakery, you can watch them baking as you sit and eat your lunch!Everything is home made on site and is absolutely delicious! They do sit in and takeaway, we come most weeks for lunch and I sometimes pop in for cakes when Iâm at work just up the road.Staff are lovely and friendly too. They have put prices up recently so some things are a little more expensive than elsewhere but it is definitely worth it as the taste and quality is excellent.Love this place and the chocolate brownies are out of this world!

This cafe is by the Brewery Tap venue, next to the Brewery in Mitcheldean.Friendly and varied menu, well cooked, good value for a breakfast stop. The photos on the other reviews show this cafe, but it's not in Drybrook, it's in nearby Mitcheldean?

Been going here for the milkshakes as long as i can remember but as moved away i thought id finally get around to eriting something. Its a good stop off for when you get off the bus or just finished shopping. The food isnt amazing but most small cafes arent...the milkshakes are really good and the staff are lovely. Wouldnt try asking for a job in there as they are a family knit group and will say theyd reply but wait 3 weeks until you ask for a reply and then reject you. But they are nice hard workers but thats all for that.

The Tea room is a very popular addition to the garden centre, it has been constructed in stylish up-cycled, industrial retro design, using individual pieces to create a unique space for customers too enjoy their refreshments. Luke Newson owns and operates
Dropped in on the way back from the Forest of Dean. Went to the cafe and it was packed as there was something going on in the garden centre. We got a table and ordered a ploughman's each It was substantial, tasty ham, a hunk of cheese, salad, apple and delicious chutney, The only criticism was that the foccaccia was quite dry. The staff were delightful and very friendly. It was extremely nice

We are a family-run tearoom focusing on using good quality local produce. We serve breakfasts, home-cooked lunches, light snacks & our highly regarded home-baked cakes and scones, enjoyed on their own warm from the oven, with clotted cream & jam, or as pa
Stopped here for a cream tea on our walk. Wonderfully friendly greeting for us and our dogs from both human and canine owners. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic cream tea and excellent service. Everything including help getting back to our campsite exceeded our expectations. Not to be missed!
