Three of us enjoyed coffee and shortbread, really excellent. Our visit coincided with a cloudburst, and in Menai Bridge when it rains, it really rains! Although Pot Jam was closing, we were offered the chance for us to stay and sit it out.Previously, Iâd visited for lunchand the soup and jacket potato were really tasty and home-made. Certainly on my next visit to y Borth, âIâll be back!â

We found this little gem by accident on our way back from Beaumaris. We were hungry and searched for somewhere for some food. Right by the junction and crossroads in Pentraeth, this small shop was just about visible at the junction and we pulled in for a bite to eat. Wow what a choice and the lady was very friendly we chose one hot pork and one hot turkey baps and we shared them between us! They were both lovely but we both thought the turkey with cranberry was the winner. We was only on the island for 4 days and on our way home we popped in again for a breakfast baguette, I had the sausage and bacon and my girlfriend had the sausage and mushrooms we both had a cuppa too. This Cafe is fabulous for the choice and quality of food and is centrally located on the main road, this one you have to try yummyThankyou so much for your review, glad you enjoyed our food! Lovely to meet you both and we hope you'll visit the island again. Janette and Maria

A lovely garden setting on a sunny day, just off the cycle path with cycle racks and water and biscuits for dogs.We had goats cheese and red onion tart with salad, which was lovely, however the coffee is possibly the worst I've had. We bought bara brith to take out which was excellent.Really sorry you didn't enjoy the coffee...but we do have the option of filter coffee on the menu if you prefer

This is relatively newly opened cafe/restaurant which puports to be Portuguese although there were no Portuguese dishes on the main menu. Nevertheless it was a good menu with many attractive main dishes, soup and sandwiches. The dishes we had were enjoyable. Two of us had smoked salmon sandwiches which was very nice, good bread and lovely salmon. One of us had leek and potato soup, followed by a tuna sandwich both of which were good, finishing with a pastel de nata (the classical Portuguese custard tart) which was very good. The restaurant was busy which indicates that it is popular. The staff were helpful and pleasant, service was good. Reasonably priced food and drink. We have rated this restaurant as very good - good to very good would be more appropriate. We shall definitely go again to try out the other dishes and are more than happy to recommend it to others.

We happened to drive past Caffi Wiwer Goch very early on a Saturday morning on our way to the nearby Llanddwyn Beach, and made a mental note to return a little later for breakfast, as it looked inviting. Upon our return several hours later, we found a handful of locals enjoying their breakfast, all being waited upon by Di, the exceedingly friendly and cheerful front of house, who could not, it appeared, do enough for her clientele. Having ordered our own breakfasts at very reasonable prices, they appeared very speedily. It transpired that a minor mistake with the order was made, but Di sorted it out immediately, and within moments normal service was resumed, and we were even given a complimentary breakfast and drink to make up for it. If one is passing through the village, or indeed passing by anywhere remotely near it, Caffi Wiwer Goch is well worth a visit for good food & good service. Thanks for the review. Particularly thanks for your understanding!I hope you enjoyed your trip to Llanddwyn and Anglesey. Diolch yn fawr DziÄkujÄ

We had to sit outside as we had a dog. The views are gorgeous but rather cold on a October Saturday morning.Due to the no dog rules we didn't eat as it would go cold to quick.Drinks were ok but for an independent run business the staff or owner whoever served us was very unfriendly.Thank you for the review, we take comment on board good and bad! We do not allow dogs inside as personally i dont find it very hygienic, however we do allow them on the decking and in the front seating area! There are a few eateries in the village that allow dogs inside. The weather unfortunately isnt down to me and like you pointed out it was October! And onto your last point manners cost nothing i totally agree all the staff we have are very polite and courteous and chatty so find it odd you pointing this out however i will look into it , as its not nice having an off day is it!
