Family run Tearoom, specialising in home baking. Also own and run the Abbey, we have a visitors centre within the Tearoom. Entry to abbey can be paid at the Tearooms, parking at Tearooms also.
Visited the Abby tea rooms for lunch on the way home after a walk around Aysgarth falls. I ordered the pâté and my husband had a burger. We were both quite underwhelmed when we received our plates. Mine had a tiny scone to a LOT of pâté and a bowl of salad. The scone sounded really good from the description on the menu but unfortunately that too was a let down, it was dry and tasteless. My husband enjoyed his burger but again felt there wasnât much on his plate (he had even removed his bun lid for me to eat my pâté) Overall itâs overpriced for what you get!

A delightfully restored station cafe serving the most amazing home made cakes, sandwiches, real Yorkshire tea, freshly ground coffee, local ice cream and local Black Sheep Ales. The Station shop stocks a large selection of new and secondhand railway and o
Last week I travelled on the heritage Wensleydale Railway going through some of the best scenic Yorkshire Dales countryside from Bedale to Redmire. On the return ride, I stopped off in the delightful market town of Leyburn and the Station Cafe, "Arthur's" where I enjoyed a slice of homemade Victoria sponge and Brymor ice cream for afters! My next visit, which I will be making very soon, I will be trying Mandy's homemade elderflower and lemon drizzle cake A great day out with the Station Cafe and shop to stop by and watch the steam trains passing by!Susan T.Many thanks for your review and so glad you enjoyed your visit to our cafe. The lemon and elderflower is surely a âBake-Offâ contender! Hope to see you again soon.

Castle Hill, Middleham, Leyburn DL8 4QR Phone: 01969 623665Great little tea room with about 4 tables.Home cooked food. I had the cheese sandwich which came with an ample salad and lovely salad dressing, and roast tomato and garlic soup, followed by lots of tea.Proprietor is a nice chatty chap. All looked spotlessly clean.Recommended

A Cafe and Bistro with a warm and welcoming atmosphere in Leyburn, gateway to Wensleydale and the wider Yorkshire Dales. We're open from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm every day and have a great breakfast menu and a great range of teas, coffees and cakes with many ba
My Partner and I visited 'Kimâs' for lunch today. It was the first time since the new owners have bought the place. We were just going out for a standard cafe lunch - sandwich, toasties, chips etc... But when I read the menu I noticed a couple of Korean influenced dishes. With this being my favorite food I asked the man behind the counter (who turned out to be the owner) about the dishes, expecting the dishes to be prepared by a Korean food fan. As it turns out Kim is the chef and she is Korean. So without hesitation I ordered one of the dishes - it was the best thing I have eaten for such a long time and absolutely authentic. And Kim even provided a side of Kim Chi from her own kitchen. For the none Asian food eater there plenty of options - my partner had a toasted baguette with homemade chips â very fine. The owner said in the future there will be a larger Korean section and it wonât be soon enough. Iâm so happy as the closest place for this type of food is Leeds city center. I will be visiting again.

A short walk to Aysgarth Falls the newly renovated (May 2018) Falls Coffee House & Gift shop offers freshly made using locally sourced ingredients, showstopping homemade cakes and sweet treats, heavenly coffee, Yorkshire tea and a warm welcome. Family, bi
Lovely place with friendly staff who welcomed our dog. Popped in here after our walk around the falls for coffee and scones, and weren't disappointed. The little gift shop selling bits and pieces by locals artists was a nice addition. Well worth popping into if in the area.

Bikers Cafe run by bikers, hosts charity and club events. Hard standing for bike parking. Reasonably priced food and beverages. Bike night on Thursdays. Organised rides. Under new management from the 6th August 2018.
We live locally so are regulars for breakfast, midday snack, bike nights or a hot drink after a cold bike ride up the Dales.Rachel and her team have turned the place around.Good, fresh locally sourced produce. Homemade meals and cake. Meals made to order.Good varied menu (although we generally have the same thing) Itâs spotless now, tables cleared quickly and the loo is no longer a storage room.Well worth a visit, especially if youâre a biker. But donât be put off if youâre not.

Second visit. First visit good. Unfortunately, the bacon in our breakfast meals was hardly cooked. Mentioned to staff who said kitchen would be informed but no apology or refund offered. As a result, will not choose to eat breakfast here again. Shame as a clean and well presented restaurant

We were visiting Leyburn and decided to have a coffee and a snack here. The staff are very friendly. We had frothy coffee and a fruit scone each. The frothy coffee was really nice and the scones were crumbly on the outside but nice and soft inside. We really enjoyed the coffee and scones. Itâs a great place to eat!

Called to this cafe (third).sourdough.no.olive oil.no.hello leyburn its 2019 get up to speed.so had bacon on gluton free.V.poor bacon tough.bread soft & soggy left 60%..wont be back.its suits pie eaters.unfit type.Hi bazspecialized, I'm not sure what 'Called to this cafe (third).' means but we're sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your visit. Having looked at a few of your past reviews it seems that you have a problem with sourdough bread at various establishments. We also serve malted bloomers and white bloomers, had you been concerned that we don't offer sourdough. I uploaded two recent photos to our profile this evening - we are a haven for cyclists stopping off for a quick refuel. We even had the pleasure of welcoming the GB cycling team over the UCI weekend! I can assure you that we welcome everyone to our tearoom. Best wishes, John

The Garden Rooms At Tennants is the UKâs largest multi-purpose venue dedicated to weddings, conferences, events, auctions and exhibitions. Purpose designed and built and open since 2015, The Garden Rooms is a stunning and unique extension to Tennants Auct
it is advisable to prebook for a meal at this establishment. You will not be disappointed. The restaurant has a lovely peaceful ambiance without "musac"blaring out. We were given a warm welcome and shown immediately to our table. There was a wide ranging lunch menu all of which were attractive. My wife and I chose the roast beef lunch, I had a starter she didn't, my starter was excellent and beautifully presented. The main course was more than adequate in portion size the beef was beautifully cooked and full of flavour accompanied by a selection of vegetables. The staff all young people were very efficient and very polite. The restaurant became quite busy and the staff dealt with the guests without fuss or frustration. There is ample parking and level access for the less able and the toilet facilities were spotlessly clean. Well done to the chefs and staff it was a pleasure to eat there.
