No atmosphere in premises very quiet Nice choice on menu I choose the loaded potato skins with bacon and cheese couldn't go far wrong with these Had 2 ask for new cuterly for main course which I ordered chicken louisanna loaded with tobacco onions ... to much sauce which didn't taste the best and the tobacco onions wern't crispy very oily indeed the chicken breast was small I got sweet potato fries as my side order ...wilted chips as if they were reheated ! Only ate here as it was a friends choice for our night out wouldn't return again for food Chicken wings starters were good according to the others but could do with a wee hot bowl of water to dip fingers in after

Visited this venue on a previous occasion so, when returning to Letterkenny for a two-night stay we chose the Quiet Moment tearooms for breakfast knowing full well that the service, food and everything else would deliver. Not disappointed. As soon as we arrived a friendly waitress handed us a menu and given enough time to determine what we wanted, the order was taken and the food soon followed. Two poached eggs accompanied by hash brown, toasted wheaten and a refreshing pot of tea was just the perfect start to the day and at a price that was easy on the purse! No surprise when we went back on the second morning for the much of the same - why change?A Quiet Moment has much to commend it and I would thoroughly recommend it for food at any time of the day.We the management and the hard working staff off the Quiet Moment tearooms Letterkenny appreciate you kind review .We look forward to you next visit to letterkenny. This is still a cosy wee coffee shop attached to Alcorns flower and garden centre in Letterkenny. What I like about this coffee shop is its closeness to the entrance and exits of Letterkenny on the Rathmelton side of town. Handy for someone heading into town for a quit meet up away from the centre. You don't need to be into gardening but it is all the there if you are. The only downside is for Coeliac's. Yes they have those pre-packaged buns that are long life but mostly tasteless. This is hard to take when you can see and smell all the glutenous goodies everyone else is having. Oh well maybe there aren't enough Coeliac'd calling to make it worthwhile to have freshly baked Gluten Free buns.Still a nice warm cosy and friendly spot.

A cosy warm environment to relax & enjoy great coffee , Artisan Foods , Gluten Free options , Home Baking & Hot Lunchtime Specials
This coffee shop also has gift ware and lots of art. Most of it is upstairs now. The staff are always welcoming and friendly.I had a lovely "Moonshine" BLT. I followed it with a nice coffee. It is a wee bit off the main street as such but very handy as you enter Letterkenny along the main road into town. Second left after the "Polestar roundabout".It is in an industrial estate but that means there is lots of parking. Reasonably priced too.

Ate in here yesterday, food was great but the customer service we received from the waitress was the worst customer service I ever received in letterkenny. Such a shame, won't be back as this isn't the first time I've ate here and received terrible customer service

I booked Macs Mace catering for my daughters Confirmation party about a month in advance.Rachel,Majella and Andrew were great in helping me chose the correct menus and keeping in touch in the weeks before the Confirmation, right up until the actual day.I donât know where to start about the food,it was just top class. We had cocktail sausages, chicken wings,Waldorf and potato salad, garlic bread.Chicken curry and rice, dauphinoise potatoes. Pavlova,Lemon Meringue Pie and Chocolate Fudge Cake.Everyone of my guests wanted to know where I got the food from, they all said it was better than a 5* hotel,I totally agree.I cannot praise this catering company highly enough.Well done to all involved in cooking the food.We will see you in the near future XHi Grace, apologies for the delay in thanking you for this review and for your business. Everyone here really appreciates it, it's really nice when they get recognition for their hard work, and we're all very happy that everything worked out so well for you and your family on the big day. Healthy vegan/vegetarian style deli, serving hot and cold dishes. Fresh coldpressed Juices and smoothies served all day. Herbal teas and coffee with a sitin or takeaway also available.
Incredibly friendly staff who are very knowledgeable about the food they are serving. The food is nothing short of fantastic, try the avocado on toast which is rapidly becoming my guilt free best new habit. One of the things that always seems to let the healthier end of the restaurant trade down is the lack of good coffee, that's not the case here! A full five stars, get yourself in here when in the Northwest!
