Havenât tried before and reading some of the other reviews I think I agree with others, itâs good but not great. Being in Leigh it needs to be fantastic itâs a hard area to crack and your place needs the wow factor. Service needs to be better and more attentive too. Menu good, vegan and diary free catered for, food food and presentation really good. Food was tasty but I think locally sourcing for products is a must it will make this place and there are some fabulous butchers out there. All in all though good.

This is a great spot for lunch in Southend. A big food and drinks menu, with lots of vegetarian and vegan options to suit all tastes. Very friendly and helpful staff, even on a busy Saturday lunchtime, made all the difference.Would highly recommend.

Often pass this cafe/tearoom but until today we have never tried it. Very twee/old school decor with miss matched bone china plates cups etc. I have to be honest and say from entering the place to getting our food and drinks their was quite a wait but it was very busy. We both had egg, ham and chips which was nice, apart from our eggs had been kept sitting around and therefore the yolks had gone solid which was a shame, otherwise it would have been excellent. We weren't asked at any point if everything was ok, not even when we went up to pay. I would try it again sometime as other food we saw coming out looked nice.Hi LoSDiner Thank you for taking the time to write your review and I can only apologise that your visit wasn't up to our usual TruLeigh Scrumptious standards. As you stated, we were extremely busy (and short staffed) but of course this does not excuse the fact that you weren't asked if everything was OK or that your eggs were not up to standard.I do hope that you will return to TruLeigh Scrumptious and enjoy a better experience next time.

I love the food here. The breakfast are incredibly tasty and also exceptionally generous for a really good price. Itâs so cheap for so much.Theyâve recently had a mini makeover and itâs looking smart. Iâd like to come and try it when itâs a Moroccan restaurant in the evening.Itâs full of locals when you visit mid week, and it felt like they had first dibs on service, as it was quite slow when we came, it felt like we were seated for 15 minutes before we were asked for our order and then to pay, we waited for a while then too, in fact there was a queue. Great that they are busy though and staff are lovely.

Iâve had a couple of take-aways from here recently - one was delivered, the other I collected. The service is cold and not especially welcoming. The four cheese sauce for the pasta is far from cheesy, the pasta is not fresh; however, the cheese garlic-bread is amazing! The food is cheap and hot and if youâre after something quick, then will suffice. I think they excel in their breads and piadinas.

We always get a warm welcome at Stop the World. Breakfast is the best in Leigh - I had the bubble and the home made beans are fantastic. The service was friendly and efficient and not bad value.Didnât have cake this time but they are always lovely too.

Decided to grab n go with so lunch as id forgotten mine, nice inside although we were taking away, service friendly. lots of sandwiches and baguettes with loads of different fillings, bit scarce on the gluten free for my friend. Little pricey in my books but canât win the all. What we took away was good, fully and did the job so not to bad at all.

What a lovely little eatery have had various off the menu over the years from cooked breakfast other lunches toasted sandwiches and lovely home cooked cakes. It's outdoor seating is lovely on a warm day and it's very popular as dogs are welcome. There prices are good and staff are friendly and the food is lovely and cooked fresh . The only down fall due to its popularity on a weekend if you don't get out early you might have to wait. Well worth visiting my friends and I have no complaints .
