Unpretentious, friendly and with a good and changing menu - this independent cafe in Knutsford Market Hall offers fresh and fairly well priced snacks and drinks - the bacon sandwiches are particularly tasty and worth trying!

After living in Knutsford all my life, i assumed this was the old greasy spoon type cafe still. How wrong i was. What a lovely little establishment. The menu is varied and i settled on a burger with Chilli and chips. Absolutely perfect when it arrived in a takeaway box (i asked for this as was on the go). Lovely burger, proper chips and all at a very reasonable price. Will return again.

Stopped off at Cafe Tuscano today half way around a 40 mile bike ride. Really welcoming and friendly staff, great pizzas, coffee and flapjack and really well set up for cyclists with outside covered seating and bike stand just in front. Highly recommended.

I stopped here on my way to a meeting in dire need of a coffee and having driven past this place countless times pulled in. What a treat, driving down the lovely estate road to park up in the nearby car park.The cafe sits inside part of Tabley house and is dominated by the grandest of fireplaces. I was early but it was no trouble at all for the wonderful lady who was elegantly rushing around after me and some delicious smelling scones.The young Labrador gave me a fuss, and I sat outside in the morning sun enjoying a quick cuppa. All round a very nice experience.Thanks so much for your lovely comment and for taking the time to write a review. x

We were lucky enough to have a very sunny day so took advantage and had lunch in the garden of The Gardeners Cottage.Itâs a lovely old fashioned garden with a variety of tables and seating.The staff were excellent, we were served quickly and we didnât have long to wait for our lunch to arrive. We had ordered Poached Pear and Local Blue Cheese Salad, it was lovely.A great place for lunch whilst visiting Tatton Park.

This is a super family owned and run tea room. The soul of the day was made with care and the flavour was rich and not salty as you can find when the food is not homemade.This tea room has everything homemade on the premises. Harriet, the baker and chef has such passion which is reflected in the quality of the food, freshness of the food, bringing that extra ingredient that cannot be in a formula that the chains and multiples have.So what could be improved? Very little suggestions would be at some point in the future a fan or air con... Also slightly larger slices/portions of those marvelous cakes.The staff are great, the food is great, the tea room.is greatWhat a wonderful review! We are a young business, having opened at the end of last September - we had a lot to do to make it 'ours', reflect our standards and try to ensure the comfort of staff and customers. A priority has been the installation of fans in the kitchen to try and make life a little more bearable for those working in an oven!! We agree we need to install fans in the customer area and will do it soon - it's just a case of working out the safest and most efficient way to do it. We don't think air con's an option, as we like the door open to our lovely courtyard in the Summer!Re the portions sizes - there's no excuse and obviously people need reminding that if a customer orders cake, they're not on a diet! I wish you'd asked for more ... Thank you so much.

Donât be fooled by pet friendly cafe! Every week I come here to buy a coffee to go and a sandwich after a morning walk with my Labrador. However this morning I was welcome by an snooty older woman who informed me she is the manager and rudely asked me to stand at the door with my dog !! Will not be coming here again!!! Donât be fooled by the pet friendly as far from it!!!!Hello LeanneYou have already written to me by email (to which I have responded) , you have posted this same review on Facebook and you have now chosen to write on Trip Advisor.We clearly fail to understand your issue yesterday. You could not have been asked in a more polite and respectful manner to move to the end of the Sandwich Bar Counter with your dog, with an explanation why. Whilst we welcome dogs into our Cafe, pets are not allowed in open food premises, hence why you were asked if you wouldn't mind moving to the till area, away from the food, as this area is not part of the Cafe..By your own admission, you said in your email yesterday that you 'always wait by the till', therefore, as a presumably sensible dog owner we simply don't understand why you have taken such offence at being asked to move to a more appropriate waiting place, rather than walking up and down the counter with your large dog.I never stated I was the Manager, I did advise you that I was in fact the Owner, and therefore the health and safety of my customers is my top priority.As I have already stated to you on two previous occasions now, there is no way in which the manner you were asked to move to the till area could have been construed as anything other than respectful and polite, and I'm sorry you have chosen to take such offence.Best wishesSally

Popped in for a late-afternoon lunch and was greeted by the very friendly Turkish owner who quickly found me a table and was more than happy for me to take as long as I needed to order. The menu is pretty broad, though a lot of the dishes do come under their own âsectionâ. The food is not Michelin star quality, especially in presentation, but for the price, that isnât a problem.The price is more than reasonable, especially for Knutsford, and the surroundings are clean and modern.Definitely recommended for something more substantial than a snack but not quite a full meal
