Although we know Dartmouth well and have often purchased food from their bakery this was the first time that we decided to try the restaurant. In keeping with the other buildings in the Butterwalk it is old Elizabethan and, as such, it was wonderful to see so many of the original features, mouldings and windows have been retained - along with the sloping floor and steep stairs. Athough lunchtime and extremely busy the service was very quick and efficient. The hardest part was trying to decide what we wanted from the large menu choice. I ordered an omelette and my husband had the roast pork. Both were well cooked with plentiful helpings of fresh veg. Woud definately eat here again in the future.

After a disappointing breakfast elsewhere in Dartmouth we thought we would give Dartmouth Eats a try. What a difference, modern, clean, light and bright area to sit. A good menu, great service. Between us we had a bacon bap, a sausage and egg bap and a couple of cappuccino's. Excellent food, great value. So good we went back the next day.

My family treated me to a very special lunch at the Anchorstone. From arrival to departure, we were all thrilled with our visit. Wonderful food, really difficult to chose as so much choice. Staff so friendly and helpful, best venue we have been to for a while. I would thoroughly recommend a visit here for families or couples. They do get very busy in peak times, so best to book ahead. Enjoy

We have often picked up a mooring buoy in Dittisham, but never visited The Anchorstone before- we have missed out!We visited we as a couple with our 6 month old, nothing was too much of a problem, the wine-list fantastic and the food delicious.Well done The Anchorstone, youâre doing a fab job!

Small, quirky, independent bar/eatery...knocking out great breakfast/brunch, coffee as well as supplying a range of quality beer, cider, wine & spirits. POW!
Found this late on a Friday night. Initially very quiet with a good range of wines, a couple of draught beers and a barrel of ale. As it doesn't seem to a large pub, it can get full easily. Good atmosphere, both quiet or otherwise and the pub allows you to bring in your own food (there's a good local Chinese takeaway). Very clean, comfortable and dog friendly

Under new ownership. A small deli/cafe in the heart of The Old Market, Dartmouth. Homemade cakes, bakes and cream tea. Filled baguettes, daily specials. Dog friendly. We also cater for special dietary requirements.
Took refuge from the rain for a lunch stop here & would visit again. Pleasant enough staff bur not enough of them so the waiting time was more than would have expected for a mid-week time out of season. Good choice of food, excellent coffee & reasonable priced.

Kitchen-Deli-Coffee Dog friendly and keeping things local. Overlooking the beautiful river Dart & Royal Navy College.
6 of us ate breakfast here on a sailing trip stop over. I had previously visited here a couple of years ago and was impressed then. Our breakfasts were extremely tasty - very high quality ingredients - and reasonable prices. Everything here is cooked to order in the small kitchen. So it may take an extra minute or 2 but it is very much worth it.The sausage was the best we had had all trip. The coffee was also excellent and beautifully presented with the foam made into a beautiful heart shape. This is a wonderfully quirky little place. Warm and friendly and welcoming and exceptional value for money. Thanks for a fantastic breakfast.

Once again, great food and service. A warm welcome from Beth & Steve in this winner of a place. The breakfast is fantastic and real scotch pancakes with bacon and syrup are too good to miss.

Visited for breakfast whilst on holiday as it had been recommended to us. We both had eggs benedict, one with bacon and one with smoked salmon. Friendly service and tasty food. It is slightly pricey but for the quality of food, definitely worth it if you fancy treating yourself. Thank you for your great review. We are glad that you enjoyed your breakfast with ushere at Below Decks.
