My sister and I visited twice as we loved it so much. We were staying for a few days while our mum was in hospital! The first day my sister had the omelette and I the chorizo and mushroom poached eggs. Both delicious. The second day we thought we would share and had the French Toast with pear and bacon...Amazing and plenty for two of us! Service was spot on!

An historic double storey boat house on banks of river, fully licensed restaurant and cafe and boat hire. Reception venue. A country feel only 7kms from Melbourne city centre.Ducks and swans on the river, 100 year old trees and a public park area.
We enjoyed two great breakfasts at the outdoor counter catching up with friends. Itâs location by the side of the Yarra is superb making it a great stopping spot whilst walking, canoeing or biking in the area. Studley Park Boathouse also has a more formal cafe/restaurant with a large seated area and outdoor balcony.Highly recommended

I stumbled across this cafe and found the best hot chocolate around town. The food is pretty good too. There is not a lot of selection as its a fairly small cafe but what they do offer is really nutritious and offers good choices for vegetarian and Gluten free. I have been back within the week the food was that nice.

Richmond Hill Cafe & Larder is one of Melbourne's most established cafes - housed in a carefully restored Victorian building dating from 1860, on one of Melbourne's busiest shopping strips, Bridge Road.
A very good friend selected this well known venue for a late breakfast....well call it brunch. Parking is always a challenge being right opposite the Epworth hospital. Going towards the city the clear way stops at 10:00am and I was surprised to find a number of available car parks on a paid meter or via the PayStay app.We sat inside along the main window. There is also good outside seating. My soy latte was alright but not fantastic. No coffee art, for my taste too hot and consequently the milk wasnât textured right. I opted for sour dough toast with marmalade and had to ask for butter. I received a generous 3 slices (2 would have been all I needed) but interesting the jam was just enough for 2 slices.Considering the café wasnât very full, the service was patchy. Regardless, the café and larder has a great feel and a must to walk into the temp controlled cheese room....making this place an institution after all.

There is a reason Shanklin are the top rated cafe in their area. Everything about the menu is quality. I enjoyed a milkshake and a burger and they were both fantastic. Great vibe, lovely staff and a perfect meal. Add to your list for sure!

We enjoyed a very delicious brunch here this morning, from a small but interesting menu. The lunch & dinner menus also looked very interesting and I hope to get back here to explore the food offering further.Service was excellent, from the moment we entered until we left. My coffee was a step above the norm too.Well priced and a fascinating space, well worth the visit.

CRU is best understood when you've seen all its colours. Start your day with a coffee, breakfast, and the day's paper, served by familiar faces. Kick back in the afternoon with man's best friend in our sunny courtyard, while enjoying a burger and an ice-c
A revisit (3d)Try the goat croquettes if available. Enough said. Plates are small, medium and large. The Turks, Syrians, Egyptians and Moroccans make this. But almost no one knows how to make it taste good.Chalked up menus, reasonably priced wines by glass or bottle (a few halves). Nice crowd. Worth a try.

Popular place with plenty outdoor and inside seating.Great menu choice with all day brekkie items and some more lunch type options. My friend had eggs benny which looked and tasted great. I opted for the super bowl with added chicken. Huge portion and filled me for the day, tasty as anything too. Unfortunately I thought my coffee wasnât anything special for Melbourne terms hence 4/5. Would still return though.

Ok so, I use ONLY these beans in my machine at home as thereâs no denying they are THE best beans for making a perfect at-home coffee. However one day I decided to actually TRY a coffee at AXIL. I was so disappointed; it was terribly weak and barely warm. I drank it between the counter and their front door. Hhhhmm, I thought for a café that prides themself on the best beans in Australia (?) the coffee would be great. Terribly disappointed.
