We visited the new Clock Tower Cafe for breakfast and were not disappointed. There was a warm and friendly welcome from staff and a lovely fresh bright atmosphere. A full selection of food and drink including breakfast rolls, porridge, pastries, sushi, snacks etc. Nicely branded cups and mugs and the coffee is lovely! Had to bring a chocolate brownie home for later! They deserve to do well.

Popped in here for tea/ coffee and cake. Cafe was quiet. Staff got our order wrong, didnât seem to notice that 3 of our party had no food or drinks. When we pointed this out they didnât seem very bothered and didnât rush to correct their mistakes, choosing instead to serve new customers coming in. Tea & cakes good but sadly let down by service & this marred our enjoyment.

Karmen's Vintage Tea Room has relocated to 47, Abbey End, Kenilworth CV8 1QJ GRAND OPENING DATE: Saturday 23rd September 2017
On first sight, the menu looks reasonable, but delve deeper and it is overpriced. £16+ for a 4 fingers of packet ham and mustard white bread sandwich, ham and cheese panini served with bagged salad (no dressing) and a pot of tea for 2.Teapot dribbled over the tablecloth due to poor design e.g. no air hole in the lid.I wish the staff well as they were friendly enough, but the value and quality could be improved significantly by the owner, or the prices reduced. Simple things like ham off the bone, proper bakery bread and at least some dressing on the bagged Italian salad.Bagged Italian Salad? Mmm the wholesale company delivers the salad to the rules of the catering industry requirements, Chilled and vacuumed. An allotment outside the tea room would be ideal. Our menu is good value for money. Tea for One £2.60p Tea for Two £5.10pCasseroles £5 per personA slice of delicious cake £2.50p including gluten and dairy freeCream Teas £5Jacket Potatoes with toppings starting at £5 including salad with lovely cherry tomatoes and kettle crispsPanini and Sandwiches (four slices of bread)fillings, with kettle crisps and salad on the side with cherry tomato £5.25 to £5.75pI keep the prices to the minimum, have you tried our High Afternoon Tea at £13.75p Karmen

Another visit with the little one, without the dogs today as one of them is poorly (they will miss the sausage the owners provide for dogs)...we shared my favourite bacon Brie and onion baguette.Clean, friendly environment, very flexible and obliging menu and family/pet friendly to boot. Ample parking, we call in after walking the dogs or pop down in the car and itâs a very sociable environment and amiable staffBest of luck

After visiting Kenilworth Castle we wanted a light lunch. We were amazed that this cafe seemed to be the only place to eat other than big brand names and pubs. It's in a courtyard so was missed first time round. Hubbie had the cheese jacket with cole slaw and small side salad. He said it was very good. I had soup but I wasn't overwhelmed with the choice of homemade soups, being parsnip and apple or butternut squash. Both sweetish vegetables. I chose the latter and it was okay. It could have done with a bit of spicing up. The soup came with a mini loaf and if would have benefitted if the bread was warm. For a Monday lunchtime the cafe was busy but then they have a monopoly. The interior is crying out for more colour as everything is pale and lacking character. Having said that it's obviously popular with locals.Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again soon

Family run restaurant serving home cooked food.
I have had the opportunity to visit Time for tea regularly over the last few months for breakfast and can never bring myself to choose anything but the full English. This breakfast is amazing every time. For £7.50 with a bottomless coffee itâs amazing value. You will honestly not find better. Amazing ....

After finding this gem back in June we have visited time and time again.Itâs peaceful, trendy atmosphere and fantastic coffee really do offer something that I have struggled to find anywhere else in Kenilworth. Today I had yet another fantastic Mocha whilst I sat outside in the sunshine and waiting for my breakfast which again did not disappoint.Highly recommend *****

Preparing, Cooking and serving the very best local produce. Sunday lunch is a must "AGA carvery is legendary in the area" The farm shop is a haven of local goodies!
I guess you'd call it a country restaurant of sorts - a busy mixture of sterile counter service and a scattered myriad items of just things to buy.... breakfast was ok, coffee ok, food fast but I felt a little systemised when I paid for food and was given an electronic buzzer thingie that would call me when my food was ready? The thing screeched, and like Pavlov's dog I reacted instantaneously, salivating as I exchanged my electronic friend for a plate of food which was offhandedly frizzbied across the counter. Food again was ok, but not a personal service or a family feel that the atmosphere would suggest.I have a suspicion that the whole thing was managed by a frustrated time and motion operative who'd seen too many dystopian movies for his own good.....Wow, thank you I think!A most descriptive analogy of your visit to Farmers Fayre. I must say we did have fun reading your review and we have rated it our most interesting read to date :)I'm pleased we received 5 stars and thank you on behalf or our hard working team.I too hate the buzzer thingie but unfortunately with the large space and volume of customers it is the only service that has worked effectively. Absolutely open to any ideas though?I am disappointed you didn't feel we offered a personal service or that the place had a family feel, as you can read from previous reviews we work hard to achieve this and if your visit was this morning I was busy helping a retired couple who were having difficulty order their pills on line. Trust me the Fayre Family really do try to go above and beyond for our valued customers. Hope to see you again soon :) ( and write to us again soon we love you)

Weâve eaten here on a handful of occasions - and we keep coming back. The food and service are excellent. My OH loves the cheese and onion toasted sandwich (even though itâs not on the menu - itâs never too much trouble)!I would recommend you try this place.
