Me and the wife had used the restaurant last year and were delighted with the food and service. Now that it is just a takeaway, we were still looking forward to some pizzas this time round. What a disappointment it turned out to be. Garlic focaccia was ordered and it just seemed to be undercooked pizza dough with a smear of garlic. Terrible. The pizzas were a let down too as the toppings were non existent and they forgot to add other extra toppings. Will not be using this place again.

Artisan, freshly ground coffee, tea, highland baking and a warm welcome all in a stunning yurt at Skyeskyns, Waternish, Isle of Skye. Open daily 10:30 am - 4:30 pm throughout the summer season.
We had coffee and cake here that were to a high standard although at a price (£12.70). Considering this isnât a âbig city establishmentâ these prices were rather high, however they did allow dogs into the Yurt, so some bonus. However they donât allow dogs in Skye Skyns factory or the shop.Thank you for your review and we hope you enjoyed your visit. We do our best to price our goods equitably and keep them low compared to other Skye establishment. The shop and the tannery are not suitable environments for dogs but they are always welcome in the Yurt!

Warm, welcoming staff with an amazing ethos. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed sitting in your very unusual building. A true gem.

The Elgol Shop
After a breathtaking drive from Torrin to Elgol, we were in need of a refreshment. The Elgol Shop came up trumps with tasty shortbread, Victoria sponge and lovely espresso. All served with a smile from the more than accomplished young lady running the shop. Nice souvenirs on offer too. A superb find at the end of an amazing drive.

So there are not many options for lunch on the road to and from Neist Point / Lighthouse. So no surprise that the Lephin Cafe was busy. But it keeps the menu simple - panini, sandwiches, cake & drinks - and although we only just found a table and the kitchen was obviously running flat out we didn't wait too long. Good tasting, straightforward food and service with a smile.A little pricey, but not excessively so given the location. We recommend.

What a delightful find, particularly for vegan / vegetarian diners. However you donât need to be vegetarian to enjoy delicious food and cakes in a beautiful, tranquil setting.
