A little gem of a place. Popped in at 10.00. The place was buzzing. A mixture of older folk, young families and everything in betweenThe warm rapport between the stafff and regular customers was lovely, and made my visit enjoyable. Staff still made time for occasional/new customers like myself.A good choice of food. You get what you pay for. Would go back

I'm not a big fan of the chain coffee. The drawback is the ubiquity - that sense that one could be almost anywhere in the world, same menu, same décor. Quality is generally assured I suppose, which is a plus. I wasn't expecting much from a Costa located on a retail park. Retails parks being all well and good in their native United States where the sun shines a tad more than locally.However. Generic menu - tick. Quality coffee - tick. Special mention for that generic décor which raised this Costa above its maudlin surroundings plus extra special mention for staff and service which (Compared especially with Lahnden) was of a higher than average standard. Their manner was excellent and the cleanliness and tidiness a cut above.

Meal was usual supermarket type, not suprised to find many items "run out"Always an issue with the in-cafe deals with nobody being quite who the current deals or offers were open to, child or adult, OAP... Still good for a reasonable priced meal, although costs seem to be going up.

Beats me why on earth anybody would choose to eat here unless you are a Muppet or have very simple tastes.Basic food & service serving the same old grease & grot.No wine or beer.Dovercourt is'nt exactly renowned for its cafe culture or culinary cuisine at the best of times. This is just a classic example.Hardly creates a very good impression for any foreigners visiting Dovercourt for the first time.As good as it gets..

Felixstowe's first plant based cafe! Located just 5 minutes from the beach serving breakfast baps, hot lunches, speciality grade coffee, homemade cakes and takeaway options.
Everything that the Greenhouse serve is plant-based however the primary reason for choosing the Greenhouse is because the food is wonderful. Fantastic sandwiches, toasties, scones, cakes etc. The nossage rolls are to die for. So hard to choose. Friendly service and a delightful, eclectic decor. A superb cafe!

Booked table for lunch. Very polite staff and excellent service. All guests had roast beef, but other menu is available. Very reasonable prices, and very generous portions, vegetable choice was really good. The only criticism was that Yorkshire puddings were heavy. Gravy was lovely . Give it a try, as lovely views over spa gardens and you can see the sea. Excellent

Hamford View tea room & activity centre is located in 6.5 acres with stunning views to the sea. The vintage tea room provides light lunches, home made cakes cooked daily, and ice cream sundaes. Activities include paint your own ceramics, acoustic music ev
Having heard quite a few positives about these tea rooms, decided to call. Tea was traditional with leaves, even my peppermint tea, in tea pots with tea strainers. Very 50s, quiet and relaxing, no banging background music. Lovely location. Will visit again to enjoy tea in the garden. Also, crafting for children I believe. Recommend visiting.

Situated on Ha'penny Pier with stunning views. A wonderful spot for al fresco dining and on those cooler days the ideal place for a great breakfast, bowl of homemade soup or coffee and cake. Harwich is full of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. The Caf
A lovely cafe which was doing a roaring trade on this sunny August day. They have a few indoor tables and more outside, overlooking the LV18 lightship, sadly closed due to extreme temperatures below decks on the day we visited. Quaint historic pier with views over the Stour estuary. We had the all day breakfast (one veggie and one standard) which was served promptly and with a smile by the friendly and cheerful staff. They have quite a wide menu for the size of the cafe, including salads, fish, ploughmanâs, sandwiches, lasagne, jacket potatoes and toasties. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting the north east end of Harwich.

Seaside Cafe/Restaurant, serving freshly cooked food, freshly ground coffee, beer and wines available.
Went here on Saturday 6th July before watching a game at Harwich & Parkeston FC. We arrived at 12:30, loads of parking. First on the menu (English Breakfast) stops at Midday so we missed that but was able to get an English Bap with Sausage, Bacon and Egg so all good . Baps were really nice and staff very friendly. very clean and nice atmosphere.
