Speciality Coffee
Properly delicious coffee, with several varieties to choose from. Whether you're a coffee snob or not, this place will satisfy your needs for a proper cup - easily the best in Frome. The shop is small but charming and if you can get a seat it's got a lovely vibe and decor. Excellent biscuits and cakes too. Only wish is that there were more seats so I could guarantee to park myself there all day!
Just moved to the area and stumbled across this place while driving home. We ended up having lunch and doing some shopping as well as our daughter getting to see some animals and enjoy the play area. Ended up having a lovely afternoon, food/produce in the farm shop is amazing, the little florist area was beautiful and food and staff at the cafe was lovely. Great afternoon our. We will definitely be returning!
You can buy ice-cream here and I believe they were going to start introducing other things like waffles, coffee etc. When we went we had a variety of ice cream flavours to choose from and we werenât disappointed. Very good quality ice-cream and friendly service.

An allergy friendly café, recently renovated and based in the heart of Somerset.
Lovely cafe that is approached through the Lighthouse complex and opposite their swimming pool. Smart interior and lovely terrace on a warm day. Drinks and food are good. Do try it.

Second visit here and was as great as the last! As transport cafes go it's faultless. I had the Big Breakfast again this morning. It was lovely! 2x bacon, 2x sausage, 2x fried eggs, bean, tomato, thick fried bread and fried potato along with a proper mug of tea. The perfect start before a morning shooting on the farm!

Frome's leading music and entertainment venue. Bar and cafe facilities. Box Office Open from 9am - 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am - 5pm Sunday.
Couple of Saturdays ago thought we would give it a try as one of few places we have not tried in Frome. Never again! Over 40 minute wait for 2 toasted sandwiches . They did warn us it might take longer but that is a ridiculous wait for a couple of toasties.

They have a wide ranging menu of traditional British cuisine, and the location and surroundings are clean and pleasant.I have had to mark it down to 4 stars because the chicken ham and leek pie contained bacon and not ham. We asked for the pepper mill but this did not arrive. We also asked for the bill, but in the end we had to go to the counter to pay.

...but I really loved my lunch here. Normally, I avoid these trendy, healthy establishments like the plague, being far happier in a pub with a choice of ales and good red meat options, but my goats cheese and red pepper sandwich was superb, and the bottled lager wasnât too bad either. Fast and efficient service and a lovely sunny terrace to sit in made lunch here a pleasure.

The award-winning Mells Cafe is attached to the village shop and was opened by Great British Bake Off star Mary Berry at Easter 2011 and became an immediate success, serving freshly-cooked food to local residents, visitors, walkers and cyclists , 7 days a
It was someones front room (or seemed like it). Limited seating. Run by volunteers. But the decor and service and food quality was great. Very friendly.Thank you for the kind words. Our volunteers are always delighted to read that their free time has been well spent! The room was actually purpose built in 2010/11 as an extension to the shop so we could serve coffee, tea and cakes. A small kitchen was quickly added when we realized that their was enough demand for a proper cafe. It was designed to look like it had been there for centuries and has won some awards. Please come again.
