Called in for late lunch on day trip to brid place clean n nice, owner (presume)sat at a table giving advice to a young girl member of staff (personal advice mot work associated) ordered coffee n food from another teenage girl..waited for food whilst listening to rowdy giggling teenagers n thier music in the kitchen n realised they were cooking n serving!!! Food came homemade steak pie warmed up in microwave so soggy pastry n gristle n fat odd tiny piece of steak, white frozen skinny fries as it's homemade I expected homemade chips or at least cooked golden fries not raw hard white...hubbys chicken curry few pieces of chicken but full of peppers n onions to bulk it up!! Whilst eating our food or some of it rather, another young girl sat with the owner n was also given personal advice about her boyfriend/ex n her baby n not wanting social services involved n not to meet him alone!!! Surely this is for the home not the workplace for customers to hear,,we were really taken aback to hear all this n the noise from the teenagers in the back we won't be visiting again we felt rather uncomfortable, the 'owner' never moved from her seat she was more like a counsellor for teenagers!!! The place n food wasn't great at all

Pier 6 is a cafe offering a varied menu from breakfasts, haddock and chips, homemade pies to icecream sundaes. It has an outside seating area which overlooks the harbour. We only take bookings of parties over thirty and subject to availability.
After a lovely walk from Fraisethorpe along the beach, you have to have fish and chips! The Pier is a great place to eat. We sat outside with the dogs, the waitress promptly took our order and the service and timing was good. Drinks arrived with a few minutes and the fish and chips not long after. The fish was really good and the chips werenât greasy. The men had a portion each and my daughter and I shared a portion of fish and chips which was just right for us.

Had lunch here this week. In this day of people preferring to look at their phones rather than speak to one another, it was a welcome change to find friendly and attentive staff. The food was well presented and very tasty and the prices were reasonable. they seem to cater for most people and dogs seemed to be wecome.Very pleasant staff offered a genuinely warm welcome and it was a pleasure to eat here. Lovely atmosphere and highly recommended

This café is truly a hidden gem. As the name suggests everything is Scrumdidlyumptious...from the toasties to the scones to the fabulous cakes. Everyday there seems to be a different selection of cakes. The lady who runs the café is friendly. The café is well decorated and clean & tidy. A pleasure to visit.

Seafront Cafe-bar, televised sports, family friendly, dog friendly, ice cream kiosk, takeaway with plenty of outside seating and a music roof terrace. Fully licensed.
Went to Richies for lunch a few weeks' ago and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful and there was a lovely atmosphere. The younger ones who were obviously helping out during the school holidays were working very hard and are to be commended, as so often these days they do get a bad press. There is a bar area, a cafeteria area and I believe a take-away service. Portions are very generous and prices are very good. They have an ice cream parlour too and plenty of seating outside.

Family friendly ice cream parlor, also serving a range of light lunches, cold and hot drinks, smoothies and a selection of ice cream sundaes, waffles and desserts. Full disabled access and facilities alongside outdoor seating and sea views.
Visited here with a large group of family including my three children. The parlour is tastefully decorated, spacious and welcoming. We ordered eight desserts in total and each one was made to perfection. The children were thirsty after they had finished their waffles and I'll be truthful after spending £60 on the treats I requested some tap water for them to drink. The staff went over and above. Cold glasses of water were delivered with a smile to our table, served with ice. This tiny detail spoke volumes to me, this is a restaurant that cares about it's customers, a class act. We will absolutely be visiting again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Really nice cafe with farm produce for sale and selection of very nice inexpensive gifts. Very friendly and welcoming staff, top marks. They donât allow dogs inside although there is a nice courtyard round the back, part of which is covered. You have to walk past the bins to get to the courtyard which is really off putting. They need to have a sign up directing dog owners, move bins and Oberhausen have some planters at the alley to make it more appealing, we had coffee and cake. The cakes were huge and I gave to say it was a case of size over taste and quality. We go to a lot if cafes, farm shops etc and the coffee was lovely and hot but on taste, really poor. Sorry, but I think it is important to review how I find things to be. They have a great reputation on reasonably priced breakfasts, so we will return to try them out soon. Sorry, just a few tweaks and I can see you hitting the five star rating. Nice farm animals outside and there is.additional seating and tables here as well.
