We have visited at least six times and never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful. The anchovies on toast with pesto etc is my favourite breakfast. Others have loved the avo smash and raw energy bowl. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A coffee shop is made by the people who work there. We have always been received with warm hospitality. There is a variety of seating to choose from and the atmosphere is homely. The food is home-cooked and simply delicious. We love going there for breakfast.

The food was great bun-less burger and salad, he line fish was perfect, the flap jacks were a bit too wholesome for a teenager and that serving required a tea and milkshake for a complete meal. If you have children they have a great playground build around a tree for climbing.

The Lighthouse Café has a beautiful ambience; it is an inviting space, light & airy with a French Provençal and Coastal feel which makes one feel right at home.Together Brett and Heleen as owners, chef and hosts have truly created a âhome from homeâ exper
Stopped here on our way back to Camps Bay after a long day of touring. Perfect way to end our evening. The decor is so vintage, just LOVED IT. Nice relaxing music in the background, the waiter was very attentive and nice. Ordered coffee and latte and the barista gentleman did an awesome job. The food was huge portions and tasty. The price range is pretty good as well. Would go here every time I pass thru next year for sure.YAY! Nothing we love more than our annual visitors returning year after year after year....thank you for the music compliment, I take great pride in my play list. Will pass on compliment re the coffee, thank you for such a lovely review.

Having read the very good reviews for this restaurant, myself and a group of 5 friends had dinner here on a Saturday evening. As the prices were what one would expect to pay in an upmarket restaurant, our expectations were high. The maitre d raved about the mussel starter - which we all had. It reminded me of those frozen crumbed mussels one finds in the freezer section of any supermarket. We complained that they were greasy and the only comment we got was "I'll tell chef. It was not mentioned again. The kingklip at R180 wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. There didn't seem to be any effort at presentation and as the plate was rather small the food was just unceremoniously plonked on it. I got the distinct impression that this was an amateur cook rather than a trained chef. The dessert was nice but certainly not fine dining.I would not rush back to this restaurant . R700 per couple excluding wine

A favourite of locals and tourists, come and enjoy a meal or buy something from the bakery shop
Food is very good an well priced.Place is small and crowded and it was difficult to get a table as it is very popular. We found it very noisy and it was difficult tp have a conversation. Hi Andrea'sThank's you for your review, glad you enjoyed the food. We are busy working on the soundproofing, it can get too loud in the restaurant. All the Best! The Olympia Team

We found the establishment to be on the shabby side but perhaps that is the intent - service and welcome was poor and the food very average poorly constructed fare. Ambience just on a street overlooking a railway line - disappointing offering and the coffee poor.

Having left another establishment that tried charge for toasting gluten free bread, we had a wonderful breakfast at the courtyard. They even supplied gluten free bread free of charge.Whilst neither of us is vegan, we found a nice selection of options. The food was prepared in a short time, beautifully presented and most tasty. The courtyard also has a most appealing ambience, and friendly waiters.Well worth a visit
