Visited with my two teenage daughters. Weâve been before but not for a long time. It was busy being lunchtime but we got a table promptly. Staff (all young) were delightfully helpful, smiley and attentive. Food arrived quickly and was extremely tasty. Burger, Brie, cranberry & bacon panini and a spicy chicken salad were our choices. Excellent venue, great parking, thanks to the football stadium and just a stones throw from the Kelpies.Well worth a visit whether youâre a local or not.
Started using this as other "branded" coffee shops seem to be mobbed, loud and unpleasant. Central perk coffee is lovely (decaff much better than big name coffee shops) food is freshly cooked (not in a poly bag mass produced somewhere) and it has actually table service (no standing at a busy counter shouting your order over the general racket) tables are clean as is the toilets (again better than close by name brand coffee shops). And lastly, it actually gets sunlight in the main seating area. There is a childrens play area round the back and away from the front of shop so a quiet coffee and breakfast whilst reading the paper or a book can be had.

Was so looking forward to our visit today, entered to be told quite bluntly by male member of staff that he was on his own and we would have to wait at least 20 mins. We were ok with the wait and asked if he could help us with change for the car park so we could wait but the response was off hand and again we were told he was to busy. We left and won't be returning. Owners really need to look at staffing of this cafe, this might help with customer service. Hello, Let me start by apologising for service you received on your visit to the Acoustic Cafe back in March, this situation clearly wasn't handled very well at all and definitely isn't in line with our normal high standard of customer service. The member of staff involved in this incident has since moved on and I hope you will consider giving us a chance to redeem ourselves at some point in the future. I'd also like to say sorry for the late response to your review, we've only just gained access to our Trip Advisor page.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we welcome all types of feedback.

Called in today and ordered 3 soups with bread/ roll whatever it was and waited 15/20 mins. Asked where our order was and was told there was no soup ordered. It would appear the gentleman who served us was full of charm but not very efficient. We left to find better and quicker service elsewhere.I am sure on another day we might strike it lucky.Hi bfbutler, thanks for your review. Sorry that you werenât served efficiently when you came into our cafe. Your order was misplaced and when you alerted us to this the team offered to serve your order straight away but unfortunately you opted to go elsewhere. Iâm confident you would have our usual, superior service if you were to pop in again and I hope this wonât discourage you from doing so. Thanks again.

Bought a chicken and bacon sandwich and couldn't believe the size of sandwich that arrived. Enough for lunch and dinner so Scarlett gave me a take out box. Only criticism is I don't like fat on my bacon, so had to hand pick it off but otherwise delicious.

Came here on the back for a lot of good reviews on trip advisor, was really busy when we went in and thought this was a promising sign, this is where everything went wrong. We waited a good 5 mins plus to get our food order taken, then a couple whoâd ordered after someone else got their food first much to the disappointment of other customers. Waited ages for our drinks order and ages for our food. Our food was okay but nothing to write home about, no check backs from the staff and the cook came out three times to make it cleaar he was quite unhappy with the waiting staff.I wouldnât trust this place to not cross contaminate food if youâre vegan or have any allergies.Hi there...I always appreciate constructive criticism if you have had either a bad customer service experience or bad food and never once disagreed with a customer online....however on this occasion I feel that I should break with tradition. Yes..we were extremely busy on the day you came to eat which meant you will have had a short wait to be served and yes some customers were served their food before you..the reason for that is because we had gluten free and vegan orders in the kitchen so the cook was clearing the regular short orders first so the grills and surfaces could be cleaned. As a business who has built its reputation on allergy free and vegan menus it could be considered defamatory for your last comment and will contacting trip advisor with regards to this. I can nothing about your comments about the food you had it is always a matter of opinion whether our food is good or not...however you have absolutely no basis for your accusation with regard to our food hygiene practises when it comes to allergens. I am a food hygiene trainer and take this very seriously. You also have assumed an awful lot about why my husband had words with us...I can assure you...it wasnt about your wait.

Came in here for lunch with mother in law and my daughter food excellent only comment is that macaroni bowl came with garlic bread portions are too big. Best macaroni I've ever had just too much.Hello! Thanks so much for your review! Youâre right our portions are not for the faint hearted - we do a smaller sized macaroni too if youâd prefer! Thanks again!Tea Jennys Management

I have been going to this wee cafe for a few years, on an infrequent basis, as I do not go to Falkirk very often but when I do I have a light lunch here. Today, for instance, I had a bacon roll - bacon nice and crisp, I had the fat left on, but was asked if I wanted it to be removed before cooking - a wee bowl of freshly made chips - real potatoes cut up and fried - crispy and delicious, and a cup of black coffee - 2 shots - I was asked my preference, and cold milk served in a recycled miniature whisky bottle.....go there and try it. There is a great menu of freshly made dishes....

Didn't know this place existed, and it's hidden away in The Hub at bottom of Vicar Street, until a friend recommended it. Dropped in before noon and it was reasonably busy. Ordered the full breakfast. Top quality products, cooked well and not greasy. Great service and value too. Nicely decorated, fresh and clean. Will definitely return.Thank you for your visit and great review of our food, service, decor and prices! I very much look forward to your return for another breakfast or our equally good brunch or lunch options. Thanks, Giles.
