Visited the cafe with my sister whilst doing some shopping. Ordered the breakfast brunch for myself and poached eggs with avocado on toast for my sister, From ordering to getting the food to the table only took about 5 minutes. I would have rated this cafe as very good had it not been for the air conditioning running full blast. The cafe was freezing cold and it wasn't a warm day outside !
Possibly swayed by being a National Trust member and therefore not having to pay for entry; everything else then seams cheaper. It is a nice little area within the museum to take in some views and plan the trip. Soups and snacks appeared to be going down well!

I visit this place most weekends. Itâs genuinely the best breakfast in East Kilbride. Itâs very busy but 9 times out of 10 we get a table. The staff are fantastic, itâs a traditional cafe, which is nice and rare it seems these days. The cakes are also amazing! Highly recommend

We popped in her for a spot of lunch. We had previously eaten breakfast here and were very impressed. Lunch lived up to our expectations. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared. This is a cracking wee place. The portions are very generous too. Well worth a visit.

Ricos is a small independent Portuguese inspired bistro. Serving up amazing breakfast, brunch and lunch plates with a Portuguese/spanish feel. Ricos also offers a large gluten free selection. We are fully licensed so if itâs a more sustainable meal with a
Popped in on a busy Saturday morning for some brekkie. The food was excellent, the vegetarian breakfast was one of the best Iâve had in a long time - lovely poached eggs, veggie sausages and mushroom bonbons. A nice twist on traditional fayre that is served elsewhere. Service was very good and although we had to wait a wee bit for our food it was worth it as it was freshly made and tasty. Looking forward to returning and trying the lunch/dinner menu.Highly recommended.

The Village Centre is a registered charity. Our café is a beautiful and friendly place to come to enjoy delicious food, or just a coffee, cake and catch up with friends. Our staff team is made up of a couple of paid staff, and an army of fabulous voluntee
Visited this cafe last week for a mid morning coffee and cake. Coffee was smooth and tasty. The fruit scones with jam were delicious. Loved the relaxed vibe and service was warm and friendly. A smashing wee local cafe with a selection of daily newspapers to read over your tea, coffee, snack or meal.
Visited here today for the first time. The food was excellent as was the service and value for money. I wouldn't hesitate going back next time I'm in East Kilbride.

On upper level of shopping center and is licensed with a limited number pf beers and wine. food is varied with a "creperie" as well.
It was my first visit to the Cova restaurant though my companions were fairly regular customers. It was very busy when we arrived but we didn't have too long to wait before we were shown to a table where our order was taken and delivered promptly.. We all enjoyed the food. Though under pressure the staff were attentive and helpful.

We have visited here on a couple of occasions because the food (particularly the breakfasts) have been lovely but every time we have been we leave saying the same thing âthey need staff trainingâ We are just told âthatâs your seat thereâ no showing you to your table and being introduced to the waitress and given the menus and drinks order taken... no, you head to your table, wait about 10minutes for someone to bring the menus, then someone else comes and takes your drink order 10 minutes after that. Then someone else brings it, then again your waiting another 10 minutes and someone finally comes and takes your order. Its just not flowing enough. Weâve often found ourselves looking around trying to catch the eye of someone to come to our table as it seems they have forgotten about you. Sometimes even people that have came in after us have had their food order taken before us. Itâs a bit of a shambles really. Also the few times we have been there we waited so long for our bill that we ended up paying it at the counter which means we havenât even saw our food receipt.A lovely wee place but please concentrate on service. Also a smile from the waitresses wouldnât go amiss.
