Situated on the corner just across from the train station there are no problems finding Corner 26 and there is also ample parking available nearby. We were warmly greeted and found the surroundings bright, clean and inviting. The menu has a fair selection and prices are reasonable. We had various hot filled rolls which were super fresh with ample fillings and the coffees were delicious as well. The kitchen and prep area is fairly open so you can see what's going on and it all seemed clean and well organised. Impressed by our first visit we will certainly return.

My wife and I visited here on our way from Ayr to Ashgill. We each had the soup and sandwich deal.Lentil soup was very tasty and the sandwiches were fresh and nice bread. The prices were reasonable and the staff very friendly, would definitely recommend if youâre in the area.

Located at the rear of indoor market, lies Geppettos Cafe , popular for pensioners , who receive discount prices otherwise it`s expensive. Staff friendly and food palatable, but cold inside especially when a delivery arrives , and doors are open to the elements, my phone showed -3, unfortunately we had a table parrallel to door , very draughty on a bitterly cold day in January. Toilets are shared with indoor market.Hi we are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit. We do understand that it can be very cold when deliveries arrive and unfortunately because there is limited access to enter the cafe this involves one of the main doors to be opened when required. We really do wish there was another way for deliveries to be made but this is out with our control

Da Vinci's Cafe at Knockroon is open Monday to Sunday serving a range of delicious home made cakes, breakfast, light bites, pizza/pasta dishes and a selection of hot or cold beverages. We hope to see you soon !
We were travelling from Ayr to Peebles and en route noticed Da Vinci's. Looked nice and as they are most definitely dog friendly we thought we would give it a shot. Glad we did!Went for the £15 afternoon tea (price for two) and were not disappointed. It was ginormous and extremely tasty. Sandwiches were all freshly made and scones were light as a feather. We ended up taking the cake away for supper as we could not manage it. Staff are extremely friendly and even had a treat for the pooch.Thank you ever so much for your lovey review. Hope to see you back at Da Vinciâs real soon.

Attended with friends for lunch. Canât really fault the food. Portion sizes not great but taste and presentation was good. Found the establishment itself very claustrophobic, small, and very noisy. Could hear everyoneâs conversation around you. Would be a very frustrating place if you wanted to go and chill out with a coffee and read the paper.....unless there was no one else in.

Situated within the Garden Centre this large Bakery Cafe presents delicious homemade food fast and efficiently. Worth reviewing. Hayes of Symington is a family firm that evolved from Hayes of Ambleside and the 8th generation is now very much involved. The
Hayes Garden Land has everything the gardening enthusiast could look for, from packet of seed to greenhouse. If you have young children, take them to the play area where they will be in a safe environment. If you are wanting to go out for a delicous coffee time, or meal, you won't be disappointed at Hayes.Did I mention it's only 10 minutres drive from my house... :-) Thank you for your favourable review BUT you've got us confused as we don't have a children's play area.

We are in the renovated Coach House built by James Boswell back in 1760. One part is a coffee shop / restaurant and then there is a large area with leather sofa's and chairs to sit and relax and read the daily newspapers and then we have a large giftshop
Visited last week. Drove 40minutes from home. Arrived at 11.35 am. Sat at a table for 10 minutes or so. Staff members walked past. Eventually a staff member barked at us....."you here for breakfast or lunch". Then told us breakfast finished at 11.45. Asked for menus. No staff returned to our table to take an order. Attempted to place an order for food & drinks the till point only to be told breakfast finishes at 11.45am & lunch orders cannot be taken until 12noon. Never before have I visited an establishment that effectively closes for 15 minutes between breakfast/lunch.Decided to leave. Really doubt we will return due to staff attitude & service.
