Out of necessity (very few cafes in Dunfermline have parking outside) we visited here for lunch today. Practically no positives to report. The choice is very limited. You can't view any of their hot meal offerings (why is this? what are they hiding?). I had had a hot snack here about a month ago and it took them forever to toast a panini so I knew not to make that mistake again.Today I opted for a BLT sandwich but, because of whatever they've put in it, a cheap chemical based spread perhaps, it just tasted odd.The other thing that actually concerns me from a health and safety point of view is that there are no trays at the entrance and no surface at the till for you to put down your purchases. I wonder how many droppages there are here because of this very poor layout. On the plus side the cafe looks very attractive however an attractive cafe with rubbish food is no use.
This baker has been here a while but I only heard of it the other day .With plenty of parking and the Bread being baked on site ,The shop has a really good range of fruit and vegetables and a Coffee roast on site .The small Limekilns Brewery has a seated area laid out and was setting up when we visited . The group are only open Friday ,Saturday and Sunday 8.30am to 2.30 pm . but as they get better known I can see them opening longer
Love this wee Place, brilliant breakfast, Mahoosive Mug of Tea! Just an after thought, but I would never drive by this place to get a braw breakfast! It's not posh, the lovely Pauline is as welcoming as a welcome thing, and such a lovely Lady! Like they advertise, they are providing not only a catering service but also it's there for the community. I haven't had anything more than a Breakfast, but I would definitely pop in for a Tea.....The Macaroni Cheese and Chips is making my mouth water! Take folk as you find them and you too will keep going back! Excellent value for the pennies! And, you leave smiling xx

Fire Station Creative is a cultural hub providing working studios for artists and designers, a classroom, a gallery and a cafe. The cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday and offers brunch, lunch, coffee and cake. It's a light filled, contemporary space fashion
Feel like this place is having an identity crisis. it doesn't really feel very welcoming and the cocktails take ages to be made so is very slow if in as part of a large group. that said, the cocktails are pretty good! especially the strawberry daquiri. Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you weren't fully happy with the service. Our cocktails are all made to order and therefore take a little while to make, particularly for larger groups. I'm sorry you felt it was too long a wait but I'm glad you enjoyed the cocktail you did receive. Once again, thank you for your review, all feedback goes towards us improving our service.

Regular customer for breakfast in the passing. Usually order to go but cafe itself is clean and well maintained. Normally just get a roll on square or bacon but doublets with egg are fantastic and when I'm feeling a bit hungrier than normal there's no beating the breakfast box. Staff polite and clean

A lovely cafe which serves homemade cake and scones. The staff are friendly and polite. If I have one gripe itâs that the regular coffee cups are really small and if you like your coffee like me you will need two cups which then makes it expensive.

A dozen people attended the evening session for dinner at this establishment. Ordered what was described as a bit of everything. About 15 minute wait, then plates of food arrived for a help yourself to what you want session.!Very well presented Mediterranean style of food where everyone sampled 5-6 different types and flavoured dishes.Followed by a home made sponged layered cake with fresh cream.Coffee followed.Never been to this establishment before. About 10 other diners in 3 groups also present. A very good evening. Thought it a bit pricey but quality was there.Didnât manage to check the toilets. Parking not great as building on a corner of a main crossroads with traffic lights. Expect to walk about 200-300 yds to find a space.Would recommend this for âlargishâ groups only as I have not dined here with 1-3 people.
