Wow what a breakfast it was more like a gut Buster highly recommend this place will definitely be going back staff really friendly the place itself is really tidy felt really welcomed and fantastic food what more could you wish for thanks Frankie
We took our two grand-children for a breakfast this morning what fantastic food and service nothing to much trouble. As with a lot of young children there is always something they dont like but when we asked they gladly swapped those items for something extra which they liked. It was cooked to perfection.A really nice thought was when the children were given a chocolate for easter. When we got home they both said can we go again.I would recommeand anyone to try this cafe you will not be disappointed.

A Quaint Traditional Tea Room, serving quality Teas and Coffees in Fine Bone China. We have a selection of delicious Homemade Cakes and our Speciality is Fruit Scones baked fresh every day, served with Homemade Jam and Clotted Cream Locally made Ice cream
Called in at lunch time with two friends following a walk to have a drink/cake. Situated in this delightful small Wolds Village at the private rear of Walnut Cottage there is a very pleasant conservatory with the delightful owner Rachel serving homemade cakes & drinks. We all had the fresh scones with butter, thick cream & raspberry jam. We all agreed the scones were the best we had tasted. The coffee was also good quality & one of us was supplied with his favourite Earl Grey tea. This small local cafe was very clean & modern in a lovely private setting. One not to be missed folks.

Gasping for refreshment on a sweltering day we dived into this wonderfully cool coffee shop, having found our usual haunt full. A table at the back offered a view of the tiny garden . Self service the order of the day with a good selection of cakes and buns. All put on a tray for us, a nice touch would have been the appropriate cutlery and napkins, otherwise friendly service and that wonderful air conditioning.

On a flying visit to Driffield we called in here - which was packed out, so we sat on a small table near the door and ordered at the counter. Coffee was brought within 5 minutes and when the toast for our breakfast arrived shortly after we were asked if we would prefer a larger table which had become available. The breakfast and presentation was top quality, the service impeccable and the staff very attentive and on the ball.I've had a think but can't come up with any negatives - just to say first class, and excellent value.Just one thing - on reviewing the menu when writing this the breakfast is listed with black pudding which I didn't seem to have. Only thing for it is to go back sometime I'm in the area and claim it with my next breakfast.Hi Mike, Thank you for your kind review. Just to clarify, our All Day Breakfast does not come with black pudding, it is an optional extra. The pictures of the menu on TripAdvisor are historic and were uploaded by a customer and not by ourselves. We have contacted TripAdvisor in an effort to have them removed. We are pleased you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you again. Thanks.

Bikers cafe serving great cakes.Open 8-4.
Had to work away from home and went to this cafe everyday. Poached eggs on toast cold sandwiches chips drinks everything you could ask for really and it's cheap enough. Sundays it's rammed of bikers if you like that sort of thing

The Bike Cave has now evolved! We now have a fully functioning cafe attached to the bike shop and workshop. We serve high quality loose leaf tea, fresh ground organic coffee and a wide selection of both hot and cold food
With time to kill in Driffield recently, and having missed breakfast, I decided to give this one a try. I was not disappointed. It may not be cordon-bleu but it is a long way from "greasy spoon"! The welcome was warm, the full English was well cooked and nicely presented; it was an altogether satisfactory experience and I will certainly be back.

Firstly, the important stuff - The FOOD - which is what I really go for - Great home cooking with the prices kept low that it means it can be cheaper to eat out as a couple than make it at home! And with the current supermarket prices rising, it gives me the excuse to have the treat to eat out. Plus I don't have to wash up - I don't have a dishwasher. The menu is comprehensive, catering for whatever I feel like that day. I find when I go that I look at other tables and think I'll order that next time. This morning I saw the cooked breakfasts whilst I was eating poached eggs on toast. My poached eggs were very satisfying but the smell of bacon with all the trimmings... well, I couldn't stop myself turning my head and inhaling the wonderful aroma! The helpings are enough to satisfy and not too much to be gluttonous so I don't feel guilty wasting food.Lastly, the additional value for money - The AMBIENCE - There is a family feel to the place and it's lovely when quiet - I am left to my thoughts and daydreams but when the place comes alive (early and often) then the buzz is just right.I have been to the Cafe with previous and with the new owners. I must say I prefer the new. I understand that some people don't like change (human nature - I'm the same) but I honestly feel that the new proprietors have updated and brought a freshness to the place, whilst remaining conscious and respectful to their predecessors and their loyal customers that they are fortunate to have inherited. The new furniture is so comfortable - almost too comfy as it encourages me to stay. Many places have furniture designed for you to eat and leave. I don't like those places. In conclusion, I love Cafe Leon. Food is great. Calmly busy atmosphere (not many places can achieve both at the same time). Reasonably priced and always a warm welcome. The customer is never rushed. AND try the mocha - it's the best ever! No, I don't work there nor have any financial interest in the place. I'm simply a local lady who salutes and supports local businesses, opposed to giving my hard earned cash to the national, impersonal chains.Wow. Thankyou for taking the time to give this review. Since we took over in February we have worked so hard to create a place that you have described. You have put a big smile on all of our faces. Thankyou Ben
