I pumped petrol into the diesel rental car, like an idiot. Signs for each pump are clearly posted but it was early in the day. The staff was great, and of course the garage is right around the corner from the pumps and store. I rushed in after a few minutes and told the man behind the counter "I need to get my luggage!" because another vehicle was coming to transport it to Dublin. I was flustered and mad at myself, and he looked up and said, sweetly, "the first thing you need to do is calm down." I laughed then and agreed. He made the wholed thing just better somehow. I don't know if he felt sorry for me, but I found out later that his charge for draining the gas tank was half the standard charge for that service. Thanks, Mr. Moran, and thanks also to the kind employees there.

I fell in love with An Cafe Liteartha because it was hidden in the back of a bookstore. Just a wonderful location for a small cafe. My friend and I both had the salad with warm brie and raspberry preserves which was surprisingly delicious! The one woman running the cafe was very warm and inviting and I was quite impressed by her ability to run the cafe completely by herself. Probably a better destination for smaller groups as the cafe is pretty tiny. A lovely place to stop for lunch and have a great conversation.
Sometimes you must follow your nose. An amazing bakery with the freshest local ingredients including rich fresh cream in many items. Best scones with fresh whipped cream and strawberry jam. Almost worth moving here Not to be missed

Visited this quaint restaurant just by chance visiting dingle on my vacation home frm Los Angeles recently. Was I pleasantly surprised as I climbed the narrow stairs to be greeted by the Russian born host wt a big warm smile I felt totally at home . Furthermore the restaurant serves both vegan and vegetarian dishes and as I ordered a delicious meal of home grown vegetables frm the back garden tasty home baked brown bread and a big bowl of spicy tomato soup perfect for me! This gem this upper room experience was a special blessing, here time is the essence ! Something u seldom experience in most restaurants catering for the throngs . I had a delightful chat wt one of the owners on topical matters in the world today and what an experience that was. If you want to experience something different in dingle something of the deep ! Visit this beautiful oasis of tranquility n enjoy the ambience the hospitality of its hosts , the delicious food, the artwork and fiddles ! Go for it â
This is a locally owned and run cafe which is popular among local community within months of opening. Food is hearty and wholesome vegetarian. Most popular dish is breakfast burrito. There is lovely garden seating to the rear and nice 'touches' throughout. Only drawback is you might be asked to share the larger tables - although this can be nice too!

We visited here for a quick breakfast, and my only complaint was that I didn't go more often. The menu varies between sweet and savoury, with options to add more of every topping. The owner was very friendly and made the crepes with care. I had the "Popeye"...100% would recommend. My other half had the "Classic" and gave it two thumbs up. Will be looking this place up the next time I'm Dingle!

We visited Dingle in August and it was manic. We were trying to find another place recommended to us but spotted this instead. What a great meal. I'd go back to Dingle just to visit it again. The calamari that everyone raves about? It is that good! My husband was very happy with his fish too.

We popped in to grab a takeaway coffee and it was the best coffee we've had in Europe so far (3 months and counting). They have oat and almond milk as non-dairy options :)

As you do, you try to find a place for brunch on a Sunday in Gastro town Dingle. Was it not for the added complication its the Sunday after the main sports event in Dingle " The Marathon" . We circled around Dingle we found the Pantri. There was a bit of queue as the place is compact shall we say, but on arrival we got offered a table outside .. Now Sundays weather was not like the day before, it was Irish Mist. For those that don't know what that is its mist that falls down as very fine rain (only in Ireland) We were not deterred, under the umbrella outside we went , my sons concluded we will not die of a bit of rain and we will be okay. ( 10 & 12 ,hardy men)The food is gorgeous, I had the black pudding on sour dough and my wife had the eggs Benedict.. the lads were happy with a hot chocolate. We were impressed with the food and the taste, we will be back for sure before the next marathon . PS. Dress for the weather and the occasion , its was worth sitting under the umbrella in the mist.. Do visit the pantri cafe..
