Visited this small coffee shop for light lunch. I had Cullen skink and bacon sandwich, both fresh and delicious. Hubby had coffee and cheese scone, and a take away brie and chutney sandwich, all fresh and enjoyable. So, good food, friendly service, in a lovely clean setting. We visited this coffee shop when we were in the area this time last year, everything today was equally as good as then.

A beautiful building placed right on the doorstep of the Moray Firth, with spectacular views over the ocean. With a full menu of choices ranging from Scones, Traybakes and Cakes; to Scallops, Crab Cakes, Monkfish and Steaks. There is no end to the possibl
Popped in for coffee and scones following a long walk. The cheese scones were extremely tasty and huge! The chocolate, coconut and vanilla scone also delicious. Coffee was a little of a let down as quite weak but overall a lovely place with huge windows overlooking the sea.

What a lovely place! Full of delicious looking food. The cullen skink though, in cullen, was atrocious. It was boiled tatties from the 1600's. Tattie n haddock have came on a long way since then!I was there buying a half stone of haddock fae buckie, and popped in by for a bowl of skink. Not sure what is going in with the chef/cook there but come on... Mashed tattie and fish paste does not make a cullen skink., not in this century!Other than that though, it is an amazing place, dont not be fooled by the outside, you are walking in to a little treasure. Hint to the owner... Crab sarnies in a seaside town when crab is out of season.... Think about it :)

Awful experience here today went in here looking for lunch but was also desperate for the toilet! Well the rudeness of the woman was awful saying she hoped we werenât just there to use her toilet considering we were away to buy lunch there eh no but after she was so rude I felt I couldnât have eaten there so we did just that and left!Dear D,Let me give you the bigger pucture. The cafe I work in is a small, quirky cafe, that tends to serve wholesome, freshly prepared food. The morning routine is as follows: Check the Hygiene list, check the H&S protocol, bake the scones, make the jam, bake the bread for the soup, cook the two soupsl, prepare the food for the lunches. Soon after that customers start coming in for their morning coffee&scone. A short break for a wee and the lunch service starts. Customers are usually hungry at the very same time and need their food to be served quickly and well presented. If a customer needs to use the toilet facilities, they like to find them clean and well serviced. All of the above is provided by a single person, the one you happen to meet that day. Here are a few questions that arose:What experience did you give the woman who put a lot of effort to prepare and be ready for people who might need lunch or a cuppa? Is she obliged to you to clean the toilet after you? Where can she leave a review of the abuse she experiences, by other businesses that send their customers to use the cafe toilets? You mention that you intended to have lunch, which was simply not true. How do you think it feels when you are under pressure to prepare other people's food and somebody is just taking your time and playing you around? How shall I finish this? Should I say "Thank you", when all I want to say is: "No, thank you.
Passed this quirky coffee stop many times but stopped by on Sunday for the first time.. Was disappointed I had not visited much earlier. Absolutely EXCELLENT coffee and service..... All sorts of home made fancy cakes to boot.... Very nice proprietor.... We will return

Tea Room, Pottery, Antique Shop
7 of us had reserved a table for a "wedding food trial". We were lucky with the sunny Saturday afternoon weather, which added to the overall ambience of the day's visit. Greeted by the lovely Flo, we were shown to our table. We find the surroundings so relaxing, quaint and special. The place was busy and respectfully quiet with 1940's music quietly playing in the background. Our food / tea was lovely (you'd never guess it was a vegetarian tearoom). The service is the best. A splendid visit. Our wedding food will be coming from The Willows Tearoom. After, we walked to the wee pond on the grounds and sat to observe the ducks and Moor Hen. In the distance we could see and could hear hundreds of Canadian Geese in a nearby field. Then a visit to the antique shop (next door to the tearoom) was a must. Still sunny as we drove off slowly from this special tearoom. Thanks Flo and staff. We'll be back.

We were visiting the area and Linda's was recommended!!!Wish it hadn't been.......the worst fish & chips we have EVER has and not particularly cheap!Staff took the p!$$ out of my husband as a Londoner he struggled slightly with their strong dialect. Will never buy from there again nor recommend! Good job the local council empties the bin regularly as they must overflow with rank fish & chips.

Cullen Skink World Championships Winner 2018! Lily's Kitchen is a small cafe and takeaway serving breakfast rolls, all day breakfast, homemade soup, freshly made sandwiches & toasties, kids box and more. We serve hot and cold drinks and have a homemade sc
Visited this establishment again and confirmed it is still the best place for a breakfast (see photos). All that (9 items), a milk and 2 pieces of toast for under £8. Keeps me going all day. Our friends said that their Cullen Skink was the best ever too. The owner/chef is The World Champion in this field.

This tiny cafe is in the surprisingly picturesque town of Cullen on the Moray coast. It boasts a small but excellent lunch menu. We had the delicious Cullen Skink, Pan Fried Haddock (very good - it would do credit to any restaurant anywhere) and the Fish and Chips. We also had he Bramble and Apple Crumble (tasting of fruit, not sugar) with vanilla icecream and the sicky toffee pudding with what I swear is the best salted caramel ice cream I've ever had.
