A super relaxed Cafe serving full breakfasts and great toasties/sandwiches. As we become established, we will move into being a full Cafe Bar, with evening dining. We sit at the cheaper end of the local price range. We love Dogs and they are welcome insid
Whole place needs a clean. Sticky tables, dirty walls and floors. Toilet desperately needs a good clean. Food good enough but put off by such a grubby place. Being dog friendly doesnât mean itâs ok not to clean properly, in fact it makes it even more importantCat, reading the scathing reviews you have left for other popular food businesses in Llangollen on the same day it looks like you had a horrible one....or that you represent another business. Three one star reviews on the same day is unheard of!I cant speak for the other businesses on your hit list, only my own, but I imagine all three of us are reading your reviews today with berwilderment as your experience is so utterly different from any other customer.I ask this as a genuine question; Do you work for or represent a competing business? It very much appears that you might do.To address your comments for other readers however; The toilets here are immaculate, always. The tables are sanitised regularly through the day. The walls are all painted in scrubbable paint so that they can be (and are) cleaned regularly. The floors are vacuumed and mopped daily (though we are muddy boot friendly!).In summary, I think that your comments seem to have no base in fact so i have to assume that you have simply written a malicious review and I would like to ask you to remove it.

On Wednesday, Hubby and I had just visited the adjacent amazing Glassblobbery Studio so we decided to have brunch at this Cafe. There is a FREE car park at the back. We expected the interior to be more of an American-themed diner, but it was more like a transport cafe (there is a garage/petrol station next door). We went to the counter. The Waitress was quite pleasant. Hubby ordered a bacon bap and I chose beans on toast. We also had 2 mugs of tea and a bowl of chips to share. The bill came to £9.20 (CASH payments only). Hubby said his bap was nice and tasty and the generous portion of chips were chunky and hot. However, I was a bit disappointed with my meal. The toast consisted of 2 ultra-thin slices of cheap white bread spread with greasy margarine. The ladle-full of beans were luke-warm and watery. Other customers were having the all-day breakfasts which seemed better value for money.

The best pot of tea in Wales, The cheapest pot of tea in Wales. A unique dining experience, in a very historical building. Nothing fancy here, good honest to goodness food, sandwiches, cakes, buns, things on toast, lovely grub. While you are here wander around Corwen, it is a famous place, with a famous Prince why not have a "selfie" with "Owain Glyndwr" Prince of Wales, fortunately the proprietors are not financially motivated, they offer a service with a smile and a warm Welsh welcome they will appreciate a smile in return. As an extra bonus jump on the Llangollen Railway for a return trip and save some money it's free parking at Corwen station.

Hubby and me decided to have an early lunch here yesterday (Wednesday). The Cafe consists of 2 small rooms. It was quite busy (a good sign) but we managed to get a table. The other customers were all friendly. The lady behind the counter was most welcoming and helpful. I ordered 2 all-day breakfasts and tea for 2 which came to a very respectable total of £10.20 (cash only payments accepted). We didn't have to wait very long to be served. The tea came in a pot with an extra pot of hot water AND an extra tea-bag. The breakfast consisted of 2 well-done sausages, 2 rashers of curly bacon, 1 fried egg, a spoonful of thick beans, and 2 triangles of white buttered toast. It was basic but quite adequate. On the wall outside I noticed a plaque about Elena Puw Morgan (1900-1973), a Corwen resident who was a writer and novelist. In 1938 she was the 1st woman to win a prose medal at the National Eisteddfod of Wales for her book "Y Graith" (The Scar). As well as adult novels, she also wrote stories for children. Her husband ran a tailor's shop in the same building as this cafe.

Made to feel so so welcome last Saturday morning when we rocked up soaked to the bone during one of our Ultra Cycle Rides...The Manageress took us in and we feasted on beans/egg on toast as well as 2 of the lovely coffees.

The Bison Grill Bistro produces all its meals from scratch using Rhug Organic's own award winning meat and was recently named the "Best on Farm Restaurant" in the UK by the FARMA organisation. The restaurant is headed up by talented head Chef Elliot Knox
Visited with family for Sunday lunch, luckily we had booked a table as the restaurant was busy. Everyone enjoyed the three courses, including the children who ordered from the childrenâs menu. Good service. Will be visiting again. The only negative points were the tables being sticky & the bell to tell the servers food was ready to collect from kitchen was slightly annoying as it was busy!

Visited Planhigion Glyndwr for the first time today with my daughter and grandchildren. We all enjoyed delicious lunches in the busy cafe. The menu is extensive, the food nicely presented and tasty, and the service really good. The wet weather meant we could only take a brief look at the many wonderful plants on sale. A return visit is on the cards!
