We are located in the mountains of Tinamastes, Costa Rica, a mecca for exotic organic produce. With that in mind, we are setting out to utilize all the local farmers to supply our restaurant, creating an organic & seasonal menu at a price accessible for a
This warm, small cafe on the main road offers delicious, super fresh food that's super vegetarian/vegan friendly--and if you're not veg you'll still love it! Lots of innovative touches with flavor that really stand out, like the broccoli in the squash soup and the coconut chips in the house salad (raves here on the house salad-just get it and thank me later!) make the dishes more interesting than the usual. No sugar in the smoothies, just good fresh fruit, greens if you want them, and coconut milk for an extra 500 colonas (I didn't see that until I'd drunk half of mine, but I didn't actually regret it...) The first thing I saw when I entered was a jar of vegan cookies. And then the vegan muffins. And I was so much looking forward to those treats--only after my meal (house salad, a vegan squash/broccoli/coconut milk soup with bread and the aforementioned smoothie) I was far too stuffed to even contemplate a sweet. *sigh* Eat here. You'll be happy.

Searching for an amazing culinary experience in the Rain Forest? Rancho Ceilo Alto is not to be missed. This hidden gem offers a Unique and Delicious Farm to Table experience. Nestled into the jungle, overlooking the Pacific Ocean this beautiful open-air Rancho has true Costa Rican charm. Owner and chef JazmÃn GodÃnez, presents a food experience like no other. The 4-course presentation includes integration of ingredients from her on-site garden and local organic farmers. Each dish is prepared with love over and open fire and includes layers of flavors as well as edible and medicinal plants. I was blown away by the level of technique used for each preparation and presentation. Not only is the food amazing, but Jazmin welcomes you like family. From the time that you arrive until the time you leave Jazmin is explaining each presentation including the benefits of the medicinal plants included. Definitely an experience not to be missed. Note; reservations required. In addition to dining, Jazmin also offers cooking classes using local ingredients and techniques. Also included is use and explanation of edible and medicinal plants.Thank you

We both had the ravoli - one with ricotta and white sauce and one with bolognese - the bolognese one was fine and the ricotta one tasted of nothing whatsoever! The ravioli itself was a bit too al dente for my liking. The music was too loud and not very easy on my ears.Thank you very much for sharing your experience, sorry to read what happened, a thousand apologies, I assure you we will work on it, I hope you visit us again and give us the opportunity to earn the two remaining stars, if you would like to write to me [email protected] if It is not annoying and you will indicate the approximate day and time in which all this happened, since the ravioli are internationally known and our customers are always satisfied, but this type of comments help us to improve continuously, a thousand apologies again.

The Dome Drive Thru, Uvitas best Breakfast and lunch specializing in Burritos and Burgers and a selection of Uvitas best coffee drinks.
It's easy to not try the food at the Dome restaurant by judging it just on its exterior. However, the inside is totally different and pleasant. The food is great and waitresses very attentive and nice personalities. They also have seating on the rooftop. I did not get a chance to eat there as it was rather hot in Uvita when I vacationed there.

The best coffee grown and managed by a WOMEN! In a place where you usually only find instant coffee, a nice cup of coffee with breakfast or lunch or a hearty, healthy and delicious smoothie... any combo of fruit for the same price!!! Worth every penny!! L
After a morning of surfing we asked for a recommendation for a good lunch spot serving local fair. This place did not let us down! We were a group of 13, including 6 kids. They had a great menu, lots of options, and it's a family run restaurant. Nice vibe. The staff were very warm and friendly and the food was great! The place is known for their smoothies and for good reason. The mango smoothie in particular is off the hook and I highly recommend. Many of us tried the "rice with" dishes, including shrimp, squid, seafood mix. All were tasty and a hearty portions.

We serve espresso, tea, cold-pressed juices, smoothies & vegetarian bites for breakfast, lunch or dinner along with craft beers, ciders and wine. Some tasty, healthy treats...that are quick to grab and go. If you are not in a rush, stay a while and chill
Stopped by for lunch, and had a delicious panini. My whole meal was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is right on the river, and has some beautiful views. I finished my meal with their chocolate-chip cookie which was also excellent. I also really liked their house hot sauce. I would eat there again without hesitation. Thanks very much for the great review. We really appreciate it. Hoping to see you back again soon!

Mosaic is a wine bar, cafe and sushi restaurant in Uvita serving over 40 wines, craft cocktails, quality coffee drinks, yummy paninis, cheese + charcuterie boards, gourmet salads, fresh sushi and Japanese fusion cuisine. We also have vegan and vegetarian
We stopped into Mosaic for Sunday brunch and just WOW. Guest chef Martin had some incredible tapas menu options that were next level. We ended up ordering tomato garlic toast, eggs benny, and this crazy delicious Indian dish that was next level. In addition, his Indian ice cream and berry clafoutis were outstanding. We've done dinners here before but never brunch. I definitely recommend visiting Mosaic on Sunday, especially if Martin is the one cooking your meal.
