Reviews on Cafe food in Camps Bay, Western Cape, South Africa. Shaded spots go early at Cape Town's crowded Camps Bay, where locals picnic and play in the strong Atlantic waves. Look for the flagged bathing areas for safer swims for all the family. Festive cafes sit adjacent to the sands, which are dramatically set at the foot of the Twelve Apostles mountains.

Lovely spot for some breakfast. We came with our 3 and 1 year olds and staff were very friendly and accommodating. They bought us a high chair without even asking. Great choice of sweet and savoury dishes and excellent latte!

We had a very nice brunch at Lolaâs, sitting outside on their sidewalk. Itâs a small cafe, with a nice brunch memo and good service. Not too expensive. They had an expired liquor license when we were there, so keep that in mind. Hopefully that gets fixed. The restaurant is also in a fun, bar and tattoo parlor scene, which seems to have live music at night (although we were not there for that). Would go again.

Australian Style Breakfast/Lunch Cafe specialising in creative, exciting all-day breakfast, brunch and lunch 7 days per week. We serve on a first come first basis and therefore do not take table reservations.
I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast bruschetta and excellent service. The highlight was the balsamic reduction that transformed the poached egg and bacon into a sublime gustatory experience. Highly recommended.

Had lunch herr twice with 4-year old son. Ambience is nice, friendly homely atmosphere. Service quick and good first time, second they giot a few things wrong but quickly forgiven. We had calamari with salad first time and although calamari not best ever they where good, and salad really nice, with feta cheese and some other things to make it more interesting. Second time husband and i had burgers, chicken and beef, and they where nice with good flavours and combinations. Little one had chicken strips- no kiddie menu but they do half portions if you ask. All in all two very good lunches!Hi Jessica,Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we really appreciate the generous rating as well as the constructive feedback on how and where we need to improve. My team & I will endeavour to tweak where we need to and hope to wow you on your return visits.Kind regardsDylan

Camps Bay is the place to go for sundowners and Cafe Caprice gets lots of good mentions. A seat outside would give the full sundowner experience, but these are at a premium and the interior of the bar is fairly average. Service is good, however. The food menu is fairly limited and mainly burger based, but there's a nice atmosphere. Thank you for sharing. We're happy to hear you enjoyed our service. We do offer a few more options than just burgers. We have a selection of salads as well as seafood dishes such as patagonia calamari and beer battered SASSI green hake. We open from 9am if you're ever around for breakfast. If there's something you're really craving please ask our manager, perhaps we can whip something up for you.
