I have eaten there before but will never again. I sat down for 15 min with 2 female waitresses doing nothing and had to ask for a menu. 10 min later had to ask to order. 20 min later no coffee and meal arrives she did not put the rider in. Had to ask for water and salt and pepper. You could not get worst service if you tried.

Showcasing amazing coffees, smoothies, fresh and honest food - the art of health and happiness!!! Open for breakfast + lunch 7 days a week, dinner with live music Thursday - Saturday evenings.
We had a wonderful breakfast here this morning. We found this place last night after leaving a different restaurant and had a great time with live music and cocktails. We came back for breakfast (I had the toasted muesli) and again there was live music, and great food. The staff are so friendly and courteous, the food is amazing and nothing but good vibes here!!! One of my new fave spots methinks

I was staying in an apartment at Mermaid beach. Because of my late arrival, and jet lag, I couldn't sleep. Got up very early to walk on the beach and watch the sun come up, then wandered around looking for some breakfast. Found this place. It wasn't due to open for another 45 minutes, but the menu looked good, so I sat at one of their outdoor tables, reading my book until teh staff started to arrive. I explained that I was waiting for breakfast, and as soon as they were open, one of the waiting staff came over, to ask me which table I would like, and was very solicitous in making sure that I had everything that I needed. They made me an excellent omelette, and some very good sourdough toast, and a big pot of tea. It was all delicious. I returned another morning, and had a slightly customised version of their eggs benedict. On both occasions the staff could not have been better, the food was very good indeed, and if I'm ever back over there, I shall have breakfast there again. Highly recommended. (They do take-out and fresh baked goods too).

Iâll admit I wouldnât normally have French Toast for breakfast but when I heard that Marcelle the resident chef had designed a special breakfast I didnât hesitate. I wasnât disappointed. Lovingly made and tasty as. Great coffee, great atmosphere mid James Street. A true local business.

On my daughter's recommendation decided to try this casual eatery tucked away in a back street. On a Sunday lunch it wasn't busy but told the rush hour is for breakfast. The menu is limited but nicely executed by the young Brasilian chef. The service by the kiwi waitress was spot on.

Another visit to Avvia and as per usual the atmosphere, staff service and food was amazing. Not often do you find consistency of this kind I'm restaurants. Perhaps it's because they pride themselves on ensuring a dining "experience" above all else. Started with prawn dumplings, then we shared the lamb and prawn gnocchi. Finished with chocolate souffle. We accompanied our meal with a beautiful bottle of Syrah. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Do yourself a favour and give Avvia a visit.Meagan, thanks for leaving such a wonderful review. We ended up here by shear happenstance whilst looking for a place to have lunch last Sunday, when we were meandering throughout the Tallebudgera Valley. It was very good, service was spot on and the food was great. We'll be back for breakfast one day ...anybody who has fillet steak as part of their Big Breakfast has got my vote.

Whilst on holiday in Burleigh Heads recently (from the UK) I visited the Harvest Moon restaurant with some family and friends. The whole experience from booking, welcome, service, food and final goodbye was excellent. The food (we chose eight tapas dishes) between us was delicious. The owner was welcoming and friendly and the bar and waiting staff super nice.I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

We often go here for breakfast on the weekends. We have tried other places in Burleigh, Palmy and Broadbeach but always find ourselves back at the Pantry. We are always greeted with a smile, the food is served quickly and there is no shortage of choice. We rate the coffee as one of the best on the coast too. Great service with a smile, excellent food and awesome coffee, if this place doesnt satisfy you nothing will. Why go and stand in line with the other wood ducks over the road for crap coffee and ordinary service when you can be served at a table by friendly happy people. Its ok your phone will work from here too so you can still take your selfies.
