Excellent place for espresso, drip or their special 'trifecta' coffee. Smooth, lots of flavor. Reasonably priced and of course, it's nice to be reminded that coffee is indeed a seed, and not a bean!
Vinhus is a great place to stop if you are looking for specialty Cheese, Wines, or other European desserts and snacks. They also have a large selection of meats, sauces, condiments, and California wines. Quite a bit to take in, with the large selection, great place to grab a lunch, picnic, or hotel / pool snacks while staying in Solvang. Perfect place to make up a romantic snack and wine for the hotel room. Some things are a bit pricey, but if vacationing for the week or weekend, then splurge and enjoy, we went back a couple of times while in town.

We really enjoyed breakfast at this cafe, particulary because our hotel (Hotel Corque) did not have a restaurant serving breakfast on its premises. It was so good, we ended up eating breakfast here TWO TIMES while staying in Solvang, CA.We highly recommend the omelettes, particularly the Gyro or Meditteranean omelettes. Well worth the $11 price tag. Country potatoes were outstanding. This was probably the best reasonably priced restaurant option in Solvang, among all the tourist traps.
I was walking along downtown Solvang and found this restaurant and bakery serving freshly baked breads and pastries. I was lucky enough that the cheese bread sticks are coming out. This is the best cheese bread sticks I've ever tasted. The owner was very generous of giving me 5 pieces instead of 4. Will definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended.

After having read the AAA article in a recent issue we made a point of stopping here on a recent Sunday. Arrived before lunch crowd and received excellent service. Waiter was very knowledgeable about menu We shared an appetizer of cheese dry salami and awesome olives. Iâm not a big green olive fan but these were out of this world with a tasty citrus vinegarette. This was followed by their famous egg salad sandwich which we once again shared. Not your run of the mill egg sandwich for sure! With 2 glasses of wine we were too full for dessert but the options sounded wonderful. A little pricey for lunch but what the heck when youâre on vacation!
The local's favorite in downtown Solvang! Hill Haven Provisions offers a warm and inviting casual atmosphere paired with elevated, globally-influenced food. Inspired by the gastropub movement, the menu melds California fresh with French Bistro, offering d
The baked goat cheese is the best thing I've ever had in my entire life!! We stopped in here based on several recommendations and I'm so glad we did. Fun, inventive cocktails, good wine and beer selections, excellent food! This place made us break our guideline of not going to the same place twice during our vacation. I would eat here every day if I lived here. Location is a little off the main drag in a little square. Go find it!!

We had breakfast. The servers had cute outfits. The decorations were clever. The menu descriptions sounded delicious. However, everything tasted very average. The cheese sauce on my crepe good have been cheese whiz. My companion"s specialty sausage had unusual spices (nutmeg?)

Serving classic American breakfast and lunch in addition to our worldly famous Danish pancakes.
Everything was fabulous! Our server Dominque was the best! Great sense of humor!! Her service was top notch. The food was fantastic. We all ordered the pancake combo. The pancakes are large thin, airy and delicious. Itâs served with butter and an amazing syrup. Eggs were cooked perfectly over medium and nice crisp bacon. Coffee was flavorful and plentiful. I didnât think I was going to eat it all but it was so good I ate every bite and loved every heavenly morsel. Highly recommended for an amazing breakfast.
