Shalom is an unusual place. You order drinks, cakes etc and sit and eat, as you expect from a cafe, but then you pay what you feel it was worth. Apparently it works too, with very few taking advantage. Refreshingly different.Nice book shop next door too

Really poor sandwiches on dense unpleasant (stale) bread, with a nasty brown sauce. Service was barely there. Avoid this place.fresh bread delivered every day and the best household name of brown sauce.maybe Canadians don't get this !

We stopped at Stow on the Wold in the middle of a long and tiring drive and found the Hive. It could not have been more perfect. A warm welcome as we came through the door, a comfy corner to relax, freshly brewed leaf tea, scrumptious scones and home made preserves. Fantastic.

Quaint little cafe with very friendly service, decent menu all prepared freshly. The toasted sandwiches were delicious with real ham. Very nice coffee and tea. Lots of quirky little touches if you look around. The cakes looked very good. Very clean, plenty of outdoor seating and they allow dogs which was a plus for us on a cold day.

Our tea Room and Licensed Bistro is located adjacent to the River Windrush in the beautiful Cotswolds village of Bourton-on-the-Water which has been described as the 'Little Venice' of the Cotswolds and is one of the most popular tourist spots in the regi
Service was poor, waited to pay while all the staff ignored us, had they bothered to ask how our meal was then we would have told them the scones were horrible - basically a bread roll. Go somewhere else, thereâs plenty of other nice places.

Very pretty traditional English Tearoom in a beautiful location with a delightful courtyard to sit out in during the summer months. Cakes and light meals made freshly to order with gluten free options at very reasonable prices.
A popular tea room. Only relatively small number of tables both inside and outside. Very prompt and friendly service. We had jacket potatoes with cheese and crispy onions- lovely. Scones looked good as well. Happily return although many many nearby tea rooms.

I wish I could eat here every day. Perfect healthy food with excellent ingredients. This place is HEAVEN and such a committed guy. Deserves all the best customers and real appreciation like an un sung hero. Such contrast to the dire bought in lifeless food and simply bad karma coming from the Sherborne Street High Street end of the village. So glad I can choose to support Baguettes on the Water. A food quality hero

My wife queued to order food. When she got to the counter, the waitress snapped at her that it was table service. We then waited and waited for our order to be taken, but no one came. They were not busy but were just talking amongst themselves.
