Tasty vegan food but we waited over 45 minutes for it which isnât really acceptable these days despite the provenance of the meals. Friendly service but the whole operation needs speeding up.Hello, thank you for your review. I am really sorry that you had to wait so long. Can I ask which day this was so that I can find out what went wrong. No one has ever had to wait that long, so I am very concerned.

Hot pasties, bread, lovely rolls and cakes - and superb coffee. Plenty of seating inside and out - very clean and modern. Take friends for breakfast or lunch. Eat in and takeaway.

Walking through the centre of Bodmin, we came across Waffles Coffee Shop. A lucky find.Nice Old-School Family Friendly local Bodmin Café.Not trying to be something it isn't.A little tricky to find at the end of an indoor shop arcade - but good hospitality once inside with good quality cheap food and drinks!

Freshly cooked breakfasts, meals, sandwiches and snacks. The Signal Box Cafe is part of the Bodmin & Wenford Railway and is the perfect place to stop and relax before continuing your journey.
While waiting for the steam train to arrive we spotted the signal box cafe. It was pretty cool to sit up in the original signal box and watch the trains pass by below us. The menu was quite basic and a few things had run out by the time we got there but it all worked out. Upon seeing the cheese, banana and peanut butter panini on the menu (something I've never seen of or though about before) I had to try it and it was pretty good. The poor lady working in the cafe was rushed off her feet trying to serve and cook but three sandwiches later and we were happy customers!

We are delighted to serve you with Cornish Tea & Coffee. A cornish family business, hand roasting their coffee & tea right here in Cornwall. We pride ourselves on using locally sourced produce, free range eggs & butchers meat. All our food is freshly prep
My partner and I tried this place for lunch and left feeling underwhelmed and hungry. Salad was weird colours and not vibrant at all, the cucumber was translucent and the chicken goujons looked like they were shallow fried in a pan, as they were burnt on one side and beige on the other. Disappointing that a local cafe canât get it right, sadly for the prices they were charging, Costa or Wetherspoons on the high street offer a better standard for the money, which says it all.

Called in for a cuppa and husband couldnât resist a bacon sandwich, which was made with very fresh bread which sometimes is lacking in many places. He is rather fussy with his bacon but it was cooked perfectly and the tea was a nice cuppa. Clean and friendly but the top point scorer for us was the superior treatment our 4 legged child, Arthur, received here. We were asked by the young member of staff if he could have a sausage and the other gentleman sat with him making him very welcome indeed. Water was given to him straight away by the lady and we felt at home. Iâm sick to death of being reluctantly served in some places because we have a dog. Thereâs none of that here and for that alone Iâd recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much for accepting our lifestyle choice. More like you please!Thank you so much for your generous review. We enjoyed serving Arthur (and his Mum and Dad), and I know Arthur enjoyed his sausage and fuss. You are always welcome, and we never run out of sausages! If you pass this way again, please pop in to see us.

Beautiful cafe in the centre of St.Teath. Serving coffees, cakes and light lunches
We have been there for a late breakfast. Seems to be the villageâs meeting point with a lot of women dropping in for a talk. In the open kitchen the ladies who run the cafe are preparing fresh pies, chilies and cakes. Everything homemade and freshly prepared. Sad that vacation is almost over and we canât come back. Would love to have such a cafe in out hometown.

Woods Cafe is a beautiful cottage cafe in the middle of Cardinham Woods. Open all year round, we serve warming home-made stews and soups in the winter and doorstop sandwiches with an ever changing specials menu throughout the summer. The cream teas are fa
The setting of Woods Cafe in Cardinham Woods is idyllic and the quality of the food and service was outstanding. I had a ploughmanâs lunch which was beautifully plated. The cheeses were excellent, the bread very fresh, and the salad and homemade pickles were outstanding. My wife had a slow cooked steak sandwich (it may be called something different on the menu!) which by all accounts was delicious. Orders are placed inside, with customers giving their table numbers. This makes for an efficient and easy ordering process. My Lavazza coffee arrived promptly, and as food is freshly prepared for each order the meal took a little longer. I was very surprised when one of the staff came to apologise for the âlength of timeâ that it had taken to bring my meal and offered a complimentary refill - I hadnât felt that the service had been slow at all and consequently didnât feel justified in taking advantage of the offer! Well done Woods Café - from two very satisfied South African guests!
