I think it was oversold to me but I just wasn't that impressed. In all fairness, deli's rarely impress me. I ordered the Rueben, it was very skimpy and served with some oily chips and a pickle spear. If you like overpriced sandwiches, I guess you'll like it.

We've been voted Bellingham's Best Sandwich for over ten years in a row, and there's good reason for this. We start with our fresh-baked bread (Focaccia, Rosemary, Mulitigrain, Ciabatta, just to name a few...), Add lots of tasty veggies, and all-natural m
Young employee with short brown hair and glasses needs to turn down the voice volume. Not everyone eating has to hear his conversations with other employees and customers. Very annoying. I intended to eat there at lunch today and had to leave although there were few customers and the place was otherwise calm.

This is a great little sandwich shop...don't expect more than sandwiches plus appropriate sides, though. We ordered take away shortly before closing...Butifarra Royal and a pollo sandwich. Both were tasty...great flavors...tender meat...At the end of the day, it can be a little 'iffy' on what you receive. Both sandwiches were fresh...fresh tasting, the Peruvian style French bread was just what you want...slight crunch on the outside, tender on the inside. Seasonings and sauces on the sandwiches were wonderful. Meats were cooked just right.Seating is limited...maybe 10 small tables. This place has a 'youthful' vibe...just the right ambience for a college town. Wait staff was friendly. If you are looking for something a little different or want to expand the range of your taste buds, you should visit this place.

Harris Ave Cafe - good breakfast spot in Fairhaven DistrictMy wife and I stopped here on the way to Seattle. Our breakfast choices were both omelets - her the Sitka with salmon, and mine the Marksville with Andouille sausage. Both of us were pleased with the food, and quantity was ample at the price point. Overall a good experience and would come back again (but there are so many places to try in this area...)

Expect stand by American NW dishes done very well. We had their soups and a sandwich. The clam chowder was buttery and thick with clams and potatoes. Maybe the best I have had in quite a while. The sandwich was generous and an imaginative curried chicken. Nice in combination, or alone. Others had sandwiches as well. All reported liking what they had. The room was wood paneled and pleasant. It got a little noisy with animated conversations at some tables, but quieted down appreciably over time. Nice place. I'm recommending it to friends who visit Bellingham.

Specializing in gourmet breakfasts and lunch we serve real made from scratch food in a bright and spacious atmosphere.
Casting about for a new place to try, we stumbled into this recently opened establishment on Meridian. Breakfast was clearly their prized time, but we had lunch and my Reuben Sandwich was good. I would suggest they need a "Please wait to be seated" sign in the foyer, since one is tempted to just walk in -- and that's not their game plan. In our visit the service was pretty slow, so I'm uneasy about how they could handle a big crowd. Maybe they were short-handed that day. And finally, I know this is an unwelcome thought, but is the BD menu and food really much different from Denny's right down the road? The restaurant has many enthusiastic reviews. Try the place and see what you think. Bon appetit!

So Homeskillet is definitely the most unique eatery in Bellingham, not only in aesthetics but also in the food they serve. First of all know that you are going to wait, and secondly they will not seat any group over 4, yes thatâs four people. When you walk inside, youâll know why they cannot seat large groups. The trade off is amazingly inventive food choices that are truly delicious. Although itâs not my favorite breakfast joint in town, itâs a close second. And since we have a lot of great breakfast joints, thatâs saying a lot. The sausage gravy has more of a kick than most places........and itâs fantastic.

We had a colophon sandwich, a salmon burger and two lemonades and the bill was $ 42. So I really wonder why this is considered to be a cheap place to eat. Anyway both sandwiches were freshly made and tasty and the service was fast and friendly.

This is one of my favorite breakfast places to eat. I love the eggs Benedict so much! Since I am gluten free I have it over potatoes. It always hits the spot. The coffee is the best! Not every great breakfast place has good coffee but it is fresh and perfectly brewed every time. The servers are sweet and I feel like I can stay as long as I like to do work if need be or stare at the wall (and unique art). Itâs a âmust-seeâ in Bellingham.
