The Grocer at 15 is the second shop in Old Amersham from this partnership. Same great coffee, same great service, a mediterranean style menu and some delicious new cakes too. Eat in or take away.
We stopped in Amersham after a Sunday afternoon walk in the South Bucks Way. Too late in the day for a big lunch, especially when faced with the counter full of homemade cakes. My husband and I shared an open sandwich with avocado, feta, lime and chilli on thin-sliced rye toast. It was really tasty, but it was fully matched by the gorgeous coffee and walnut cake, a latte and a cappuccino. We sat at a table in the window and enjoyed everything. A

Well after having a walk through town on a rare Friday off we decided to get a quick bite for breakfast. Struggling to find somewhere we came to chez pain and my other half noted in dismay we had missed the time for breakfast. Overhearing us the owner (I presume) said don't worry about that and promptly got us exactly what we wanted. I even got a drink for the meal deal breakfast type which wasn't on the list just charged as the deal though I wasn't expecting it. The food was great, quality ingredients at a super price and I could see exactly why it was so popular. Service was as fast as it was friendly, a fab start to the day.

Warm welcome and delicious sandwiches and hot drinks! Dog friendly is an understatement- dog super friendly and catered for fed and fussed! Water and dog biscuits openly available. All the staff were really welcoming to everyone who came in accommodating babies and buggies and I can imagine that this will become a regular hang out now weâve tried it. Keep doing what your doing - itâs great!

Purveyors of nice food to the (sub)urban masses.
I saw a review of Tin Kitchen on a local blog, what a find! It is located in a residential setting near the High Crest Academy and I would definitely not have found it if not prompted to search it out. Outside there is no sign, inside is bright and cheerful but small with only 5 tables, the 3 ladies were cheerful, efficient and professional. They serve breakfast and lunch with traditional cafetière coffee. I had the French toast and coffee for £9, superb. Definitely worth the trip, I will definitely be back, posh toast for me next time.
