Very friendly staff and good range of food available - can recommend the scones, served warm, melt in the mouth and delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating in the centre of the village so easy to find and well worth a visit despite the calorie count !

Ricci's Fine Italian foods is a sit-in CAFE and also a take-away. We strive to serve the best authentic Italian foods, at a fair price, in pleasant surroundings. We pride ourselves on freshness, cleanliness and a friendly atmosphere. Our Italian coffee is
4 popped in for pizza and pastaWith a garlic bread be warned very strong garlic if you donât like it to strongPizzas were tasty and a big portion on pasta carbonaraWonât beat a proper Italians but good enough Be warned cash only salesSorry if the garlic bread was too strong for you, but we've used the same recipe for 15 years, and 99% of customers love it, using words in their reviews like; 'best ever' 'awesome' etc.We had a giggle at 'proper Italian', as this cafe was all based on original Italian recipes , which we purchased from the previous owners and adhered to when we bought it over 12 years ago.No, we don't take cards (yet), but are in the complicated process of getting the right deal, but meanwhile you neglected to include the fact that there are FOUR cash machines within a few minutes walk, two are less than twenty seconds away.

Super little cafe perfectly located in the heritage village of Eyam in the Peak District. We bake gorgeous cakes and cook tasty savouries 7 days a week for you to enjoy, using fantastic local produce. Our coffee is Fairtrade, organic and rainforest certif
Very pleasant cafe with a good range of food. However we thought the cakes were expensive - a slice of carrot cake at £3.75 was somewhat too steep for us (no prices displayed but we were glad we asked before ordering) so we just had drinks which were nice. Friendly staff and good service so well worth a visit, but watch those prices. Many thanks for your review; just a comment re our prices - all our cakes are small batch & hand made on the premises from premium quality ingredients (butter/free range eggs/real vanilla extracts etc). Portions are generous and customers often share a piece of our layer cakes because of that and traybake prices start at 2.50.Prices are also inclusive of VAT, reflect our commitment to sustainable business practices which attract higher overheads (compostable cups etc; increased recycling costs and paying staff fairly and above minimum wage).Iâm glad you enjoyed your drinks and experienced good service. Best wishes, Sara

Relax and enjoy morning coffee with a slice of homemade cake, a freshly prepared lunch or an afternoon tea in the tranquil ambiance of Gallery Café, located inside the wonderful Rutland Arms Antiques Centre. We use the finest ingredients in all of our pro
The small and cozy 'Gallery Cafe' is tucked away in a corner of the Rutland Antiques Centre. In the cafe you will find a selection of sandwiches, toasted hot and cold, coffee and cakes. The walls have paintings on display (hence 'Gallery' Cafe) and comfortable seats and tasteful decor. Prices in my opinion are a little bit high, we paid £17.50 for two toasted sandwiches and one regular coffee, but the presentation and quality was very good.

Edensor Tea Cottage is a licence cafe and tea rooms in the village of Edensor on the Chatsworth Estate, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. We are open daily apart from Christmas Day and take reservations for breakfast or lunch. We also have rooms
Called in for a coffee and to fill up my water bottle for the final push home on my bike in the afternoon sun. Only to be told after my £2.90 coffee that Iâd have to fill my bottle up in the public toilets next door. Er..... no thanks. The passing dogs outside were treated to bowls of water free of coffee charge. So, I know my place now as one that is below canine. I wonder if pretend manageress will drink my offering of public toilet tap water when I return next week. The light at the end of the tunnel; their sister shop in Beeley fell over backwards to help me despite the fact I never bought anything from their cafe. A case of polarised service. A not to all cyclists , choose one not the other.Dear reviewerI am so sorry to read this. I have never told my staff to tell customers to use the âsinks outsideâ for customers to fill up their water bottles. I genuinely think that the member of staff was thinking they were âusing their initiativeâ on a busy day to serve people (including yourself) as quick as possible without you or others having to wait for too long. I have explained to all the staff that under no circumstance are they to ask customers like yourself to use the sinks elsewhere, no matter how busy. I hope you can understand that this is not something that will occur again on our premises and I am very sorry. Kindest Regards

Here at The Eating House we believe in offering high quality food in a homely, cosy environment. Whether you love traditional British fayre or have a taste for something more modern you will find something to delight your taste buds on our menu.
My wife and I visited today for Afternoon Tea. An amazing selection of finger sandwiches, cakes, scones with jam and cream along with a decorative salad and various fruits and endless coffee and tea - whatâs not to like. The staff were very efficient and pleasant, our table was ready when we arrived. The coffee and tea are refillable as often as you want and the staff positively encourage refills. Amazing for only £10 per person.
