Asked for skim latte small and the half asleep barista gave me a flat white, small with 2 sugars. She called out Flat white and I said I was waiting for Skim latte and she said â yes , here it is and handed it to meâ Idiot! Cash register girl getting so many orders wrong and mine must of been one

Itâs nice to get something a little different, myself and friends ordered different dishes from their Hawaiian range and we were all very happy with our meals. A very interesting flavour experience. Maybe not the cheapest but well worth the money for the freshly prepared dishes.

Quick trip back to my old stomping grounds to catch up with friends and had lunch at Wise Food Cafe, has a great menu with a wide choice and the food and fresh juices were amazing, loved everything I had. Was surprised and pleased with the prices, very reasonable which is a nice change as most times Cafes can be well overpriced for fresh quality food. I found the welcoming and customer service was a bit non existent but seeing I was catching up with friends I wasnât too concerned and would love to go back next time Iâm at Avoca n Copa

Juices, tea, coffee and all meals we had this morning and not a sign of plastic anywhere. Impressively attentive staff, a pleasant location with lovely beach views; it has good food, great coffee and real loose leaf tea (so much better than teabags) - all-in-all it made for an awesome breakfast experience.Highly recommended.Thank you . It is a process to go plastic free, we not quite there but we are working on it. :)

We arrived late, about 2pm and wasnât expecting much, as the area was pretty vacant.I ordered directly with the cashier as table service was clearing and cleaning tables. All good and I was happy to do that..Chicken, cheese and Lettuce sandwich with a light beer was great.haloumi & avocado and sandwich with sweet potato chips was perfect. And a glass of Wine. Both dishes were delicious and we sat and enjoyed the sun and atmosphere.A great day.

Great food & amazing staff focused on getting food & coffee to you quickly & tasting great. Two kids had a mango smoothie which they loved. Waitress suggested splitting the adult one for two kids - perfect result. Bacon & eggs was great & the coffee really good too. Great atmosphere. Also had the paper !!

We came across the Bellyfish Cafe while strolling along the Terrigal promenade. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the ocean views. All our coffees were of a high standard and the old fashioned ham and cheese toasted sandwich was excellent.

Not happy with the cooking of the chicken in a burger and reported this to staff inside the cafe. Staff, including the man who was working the grill plate, were uninterested in inspecting the chicken I brought in to show them. The girl on the cash register took the plate away. Asked her for a refund, which I received. The staff clearly thought my compliant was unjustified, even though not one of the kitchen staff came near the offending chicken, to verify this. After hearing me complain the kitchen staff, including the middle-aged man on the grill and some young people plating up etc., turned their backs on me and carried on. No apology and no comment. The kitchen staff cooking area and bench is an open area, located immediately behind the cash register. I was then charged for a coffee while I waited for my friend to finish her salad. This coffee would not have been purchased if the chicken had been cooked properly. It indicated the staff were not treating my complaint seriously Hi ClareLouiseSydney.Thank you for your feedback. I'm so sorry this happened to you.First of all, I've spoken to staff that worked over that weekend - as I'm not entirely sure what day this happened exactly. The chef wishes to apologise, he did not hear you but should have been notified by the staff immediately. We can assure you that although we have an open kitchen we do use all safety precautions to ensure that food is served properly and up to the health and safety standard that is expected.I will make sure this is brought up at our next meeting as complaints should be taken seriously. I'm glad we were able to refund you straight away however i understand the issue is that there was no immediate initiative taken by the staff member to show you the attention that is deserved.Again, I'm very sorry you weren't happy with the service you received. There are often factors that contribute to this however I agree this issue should have been handled better.Georgia

The Point Cafe at Avoca Beach is the heart of H&H. It is the core cafe and has become a community institution. With unrivalled views out to the Pacific and a menu to match, âThe Pointâ has been a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike for over 10 yea
After sometime we decided to try the Point Cafe again. Went for lunch and decided on the mixed seafood plata. Paid extra for pawns. It was well presented ,however, the ho5 Seafood was cold and the pawns were obviously frozen and absolutely tasteless. The place is not cheap so not that impressed. Would I go back maybe in a few months time.

Modern middle eastern inspired cuisine. Dine in, takeaway, take home meals and catering. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available.
We recently stopped for dinner at Mosaic - a Lebanese restaurant. The food was delicious, the service from the young staff excellent and the space, both inside and outside (where we sat) is great. Cost was good...around $100 for 4 dishes and drinks. Would highly recommend.
