This place manages to deliver that authentic home-made taste and friendly service in a busy, fast paced environment. Jaime (I was sure to ask her name) pulled out all the stops when it came to offering me some Vegetarian choices that didn't include the obligatory stir-fry or curry! What was supposed to be a quick bite to eat turned into a lovely lunch, a sweet treat and a guarantee to come back again. Well done to the team in Harvest Cafe :)

Myself and my husband have just been to poppy fields and I have to say it was a delightful experience. Such lovely friendly staff. Our food was top quality and as my hubby is a caeliac he had lots of options. He was one happy guy. Me too if he was happy I certainly was. I have no hesitation in recommending poppy fields for some great food . Try it yourselves and enjoy the experience of it yourselves. We will definitely be back. ï¸â
Had breakfast here in a Sunday morning. Very busy place and was asked to wait by the window until a seat became available . The waitress was going to give us the menu so we could have our other put in ahead of getting the table but we got called much faster than expected. Great choice on for breakfast Food was amazing and definitely worth the wait Iâd nearly drive the hour and a half from home just for breakfast again :-)

Daytime fine dining with traditional table service.Reservations available.Established in 2012 this family owned restaurant is renowned for its quality, style and service. A must for visitors to Athlone who require a little something special.
Have been here quite regularly. I find Athlone difficult to find a great lunch place in. The corner house has a lovely interior, great staff and a varied menu. They often offer a complimentary little taster cup of their soup of the day which is a lovely touch. However for lunch time standards, I find their choices to be a little pricey for what can sometimes be quite small portions. Still highly recommend, just something to be aware of. Also think it has great potential for an evening dinner, they should consider opening later !!
