Reviews on Cafe food in Amsterdam, North Holland Province, The Netherlands. Charming, compact and charged with a zestful energy usually associated with cities ten times its size, open-minded Amsterdam delights with well known worldly pleasures tempered with down to earth Dutch sensibility. Radiating along a picturesque series of canals, the city seems to float dreamily and of its own accord at the lowland edge of Europe, welcoming fans of fine art, cutting edge fashion, or a raucous night out, with equal regard for all.

We had a lovely and tasty lunch by complete surprise. Great price we paid 16.50 and had a sandwich each (a lot of ingredients which were home made) and fries to share. The staff was very nice too!

Service made the meal. Food very tasty: dutch buratta with radicchio, cherry tomato, golden beetroot and sherry/oil vinaigrette ( as good as any Italian buratta)was perfect.Fried chicken thigh burger ( moist)with kimichi slaw and double cooked fries tasted just fine.We started with a smoked paprika potato soup which was delicious.

We devoured the Vegan Kimchi, Caprese and The Hangover (returning twice in one day) and boy were we happy. The flavoured Green and Earl Grey teas were a welcome accompaniment. The women serving yesterday (Sat 5th November), when we were visiting were so much fun!Such a lovely atmosphere, it's a fantastic snack stopover.

Situated in the heart of town with a fabulous canalside terrace. All day breakfasts - full english, eggs benedict etc etc, full lunch and afternoon tea and cakes selection
We went for breakfast on our first morning in Amsterdam based on tripadvisor reviews and werenât disappointed. I need a gluten free option so was delighted with their delicious gluten free toast which accompanied my meal. We both opted for the veggie breakfast as weâd had full English in the airport the day before and I can honestly say this was the best veggie breakfast Iâve ever eaten, by some distance. It was incredible and huge, served quickly and incredibly efficiently bearing in mind they were so busy, with a queue out the door. It was so good we went back two days later and it was delicious once again. The home made soda bread my partner had was described as the best bread heâd eaten for a long time. Very highly recommended and weâll definitely be back next time we visit the city. Thank you so much for your review! We hope to see you back again soon. Jen :)

We came across this place when looking for somewhere cheap and casual to eat. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced and the quality was great. I had the Tuna Salad on Toast which was divine with a glass of wine, which was only 3.90 Euro. This was the cheapest glass of wine I had in Amsterdam. I will definitely return here next time I'm in Amsterdam.Hey liz, Thanks for the review! Happy to hear you thought the price-quality combination was good for you guys.Hope to see you again soon!groetjes, broer

Despite having now been a local here in Amsterdam for several months it is always a delight to discover new, little-known gems that provide healthy (yet tasty) treats and BOY did Juice by Nature provide. Upon entering I was greeted with a myriad of options and found it difficult to make a decision initially. In the end I went for their vegan cheeze wrap (made with a nut-based vegan cheese) and a âextreme greenâ juice which were both divine. This cafe is a hidden gem considering itâs location, seems to cater to all - providing vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and nut free options to suit - with friendly, knowledgeable staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Iâll be back. Hi delvacozi, Thank you for your wonderful review of our healthy cafe in Amsterdam! The vegan cheese is a popular seller, maybe next time try the vegan cheese board. Great to hear you are a local and hope to see you back again soon!Kind Regards, Paula Cathersides

Stopped in for brunch upon the recommendation of a local. The Veggie and The Big Vegan Breakfast appealed to us after a couple weeks in Africa without fresh veggies. The plates looked gorgeous, but the food was bland, particularly on the Vegan. In fact the sweet potato fries were the only thing that had any spice at all, and that seemed just salt. The avocado hummus tasted like plain, mashed avocado. The tofu scramble was just that, with absolutely no flavour. On the plus side, the fresh squeezed orange juice was definitely fresh and delicious, the food all seemed fresh and was presented well. Just needed something to give it some taste. The coffee was pretty good. Service was quick if a bit curt.Thank you so much for your review! We take all reviews extremely seriously and each one is discussed at our weekly management meeting. Thank for your feedback regarding the food, it has been passed onto the head chef and will be looked at. We hope to see you back again soon! Jen :)

Visited this restaurant for breakfast a couple of times during our Amsterdam trip. Quaint small restaurant with the nicest most gracious staff and delicious breakfast choices. We had the pancake and waffle choices along with the fresh squeezed OJ. Perfect way to start the day. And love their morning song tracks. Highly recommend!
