We booked Tony from Australia and we could not have had a better guide. Extremely knowledgeable about Moscow, took us to local places, such as the vodka bars, very flexible in arrangements. Highly recommended.

Enjoy a pleasant one-day trip from Moscow to a 700 year old Holy Trinity Monastery founded by St Sergius, the most important center of pilgrimage and the biggest and most beautiful monastery. The 70 km ride to the town of Sergiyev Posad takes you through a lovely stretch of Russian countryside, dotted with colourful wooden cottages. The town's chief attraction is the Lavra, a fairy-tale of gold and azure onion domes of its Cathedrals. You will learn about the history of this holy place and its founding fathers, how it influenced the rulers of the country, safeguarded the Russian culture and authenticity in times of hardship. Feel the atmosphere, take a bite of ginger bread and a sip of kvass (local root beer) and take tons of beautiful pictures.

Fantastic excursion with Simon and Sergei who acted as interpreters for us with the instructor. The excusion is not cheap but given the lack of shooting ranges that were open to tourists this was put only choice. Besides the cost, the weapons you shoot are classic Russian firearms that possess alarming power. For gun enthusiasts there is no better place to try different firearm than Moscow with these guys. The tour guides were with us every step of the way showing their professionalism and helping us with all the paperwork. A great excursion - thanks Simon and Sergei

Saint Basil's Cathedral is in Red Square of Moscow and is one of the most popular cultural symbols of Russia. It's inside is truly amazing. It is one of the centrepieces of Red square and it's one of the 16 UNESCO cultural sites of Russia. It's beauty is breath taking and got my best photos here.

The famous tank museum in Kubinka has become part of a huge ‘military-patriotic’ park called ‘Patriot’. Technically the museum hasn’t moved (yet) but most of the German tanks and heavy Soviet vehicles have been relocated to the Patriot. And the thing is that the two sites are situated about 10km from each other. To see the whole collection of the armoured vehicles you’ll have to visit both of them and buy two separate tickets (R400 and R350 respectively, not included). A private day tour to Kubinka Tank Museum and the Patriot Park will let you visit both sites avoiding the hassle of getting there and around. I am neither a licensed guide nor a tank enthusiast but like most men I love military hardware and will gladly translate all the information you might need. Explore everything at your own pace without rush, the schedule is totally flexible! My vehicle is a Subaru Outback suitable for up to 4 persons. UPD: As of May 2020, Kubinka (old museum) is closed, Patriot is open.
Inclusions: Bottled water, snacks, coffee/tea and welcome beer are available on board and included in the cost.

Nikolay organized an amazing three day trip for me. He was very flexible with helping me plan a trip that fit my needs and was even willing to pick me up from the airport. He was a very good driver and his car was comfortable. He knew a lot of information about all the places we visited and was a good travel companion in general for passing the long hours driving. He helped me to pick budget accommodations for our overnights. I really enjoyed my three days spent with him and learned a lot about the history of the golden ring. I enjoyed walking around the small towns and hearing stories. We visited Sergiev Posad, Pereslavl, Rostov, Yaroslavl, Suzdal and Vladimir as well as some smaller stops along the way. He was flexible with how much time we spent at each destination. Overall it was a great trip. I visited in winter but I hope to see some of the cities in summer and would definitely hope to travel with Nikolay again!

We were a group of 5 from Sydney, Australia for a weeks stopover in Moscow and Vadim had been highly recommended to us from a friend. We were glad they did, as Vadim was an excellent guide and jam packed our tours with sites as well as a historical journey of the old Rus’ and modern Russia. His knowledge of his homeland country was impeccable and we now have a deep appreciation and fondness of the Russian people. Would highly recommend Vadim to all travellers! Note: if you would like to keep your exercise regime up whilst in Moscow then Vadim’s walk tours will certainly keep your daily steps in the high 000’s. However Vadim can easily adapt to a slower pace as we had our 78yo mother in our party. Awesome Tour Guide! Спасибо большое Vadim

We took this action with a friend of mine when we were in Moscow for New year's holidays. They took us from our hotel to the banyas in a good car. The banya experience was really great with taking a swim in the icy pool, also we took some drinks with us. The local girls were charming and our guide Mikhail helped us a lot communicate. Everything was safe and memorable, delightful experience!

Head to Sergiev Posad, one of Russia’s famous Golden Ring towns, on a private day trip from Moscow! With a private guide at your side, explore the UNESCO-listed Trinity Lavra Monastery of St Sergius – one of the country’s A-list attractions. Often said to be Russia’s answer to the Vatican, the working monastery is more akin to a town in its own right with cathedrals, churches and lavish artwork by the medieval painter Andrei Rubylov. See the best of it with your private guide and hear all the history, too.
Inclusions: Transport by private vehicle, Hotel pickup and drop-off, Professional guide
Exclusions: Gratuities, Food and drinks, unless specified
My private tour at Peter and Paul Fortress was very impressive. My favorite interior was central altar gate of peter and paul fortress, it represent the spirit of old Saint Petersburg. All was designed in gold magnificent style. The altar was so eye catching and glitter. The dominate color is gold. The arch above the central altar is supported by Corinthian columns. Next to them were winged statues of Peter and Paul (Patron saints). Toward the base was Virgin Mary with the Apostles at her feet. The crown represents Christ enthroned.

We booked for the Swan Lake ballet on 25 December 2019, with travel date on 24 May 2020, through U Visit Russia. . Due to the Covit19 pandemic we were unable to visit Russia nor attend the ballet. Two tickets were purchased for US$465.50. U Visit Russia was advised of not being able to attend and agreed to pay a full refund but there would be a delay due to the number of cancellations. After some time no refund was forthcoming and U Visit Russia was again contacted by email and we were advised that due to the volume of cancellations the refund would be credited to our credit card within 9 weeks. Nothing and again they were contacted by email but no response was ever received. No refund was ever received. Nothing!! The lesson is to beware of ever dealing with this company.
