Did this trip in February. To sum it up it consists of 11 hours in a minivan to visit three churches in Chiloe, none of them is interesting unless you are an academic interested in the technical details of wooden church building in the mid 19th century. However good the guides are (and our guide was excellent) this piece of Chile is not worth visiting. The drive to Castro in Chiloe island comprises a 70km motorway run to a ferry and then more than two hours driving along a scruffy, semi industrialised road with no redeeming features to Castro. On arrival the only logical question is "why bother". There are so many beautiful places in Chile I would suggest that people give this excursion a swerve and prevent the total waste of a day of their lives.

You will be part of an unforgettable experience that will take you to one of the farthest points on Earth. The coldest, highest, windiest, driest and less populated continent. A continent that has been completely sunk by ice, which has not only shaped its topography but also influenced its evolution. On 1989, DAP began flying to King George Island in Antarctica and now is the private airline with more experience in flying there. This place is one of the only places on earth that is still pristine, It is, therefore, why, it has become an important reserve for the biosphere. Its unique beauty contrasted with its extreme weather conditions, make it an exotic and enchanting destination for all those privileged travelers who are planning a visit to the end of the world. On the aircraft, you will fly over the Magellan Strait, Tierra del Fuego Island, Darwin Mountain Range, mythical Cape Horn and the raft Drake Passage to finally arrive at King George Island, Gateway to the White Continent.

Inclusions: Breakfast, Lunch or a snack during the expedition depending on the place and time of arrival, Half board included per person during the four consecutive nights in hotel, DAP Plane tickets, Insurance of civil liability covers all passengers against risks while they are on the airplane, Insurance of civil liability covers all passengers when boarding or disembarking via the stairs, Special jacket and a pair of boots for the tour in case you do not have the adequate equipment

It was a beautiful and varied hike through the Patagonian forest. Our extremely charming and competent hiking guide entertained us with little anecdotes and conveyed many interesting facts about the different ecosystems. In a relaxed atmosphere we walked through the forest where we learned a lot about the different mushrooms and other plants. At the end we had local specialities which were really delicious. And I was lucky: although I hadn't announced it, there was a gluten-free version for me. Altogether a nice excursion, especially because of the nice hiking guide.

If you only have a day, this is the way to see Torres del Paine. We probably got 5-6 hours in the park, and were driven around to all of the key sites. No, this won't be a hiker's dream, but we only had a day. We got there and back safely, the car was very comfortable, we brought a sandwich as instructed, and enjoyed our guides. This tour is best for someone who speaks a little Spanish, and we enjoyed learning some new Spanish words and vice versa. Guides were very friendly.

The opportunity to see the glaciers up close and to trek on them was definitely a bucket list activity! From the moment you strap on those crampons, you know you are in for a once in a lifetime experience. The guides were great and you even finished the trek with a glass of whisky on glacier ice. This was not a strenuous trek so I think anyone could take it on - we even saw a man who seemed to have cerebal palsy and he had two guides assist him and was able to complete the trek.

The pinguiens was there, but few and no other animals. All such activities are two expensive in Argentina and Chile, too expensive for the locals also, and to many restrictions on movements. These tours have been the only downs on our three months trip to A and C. In my country you do not pay to visit national parks. No gusto.
