Cross the UN-patrolled border into northern Cyprus and visit two of the north’s most famous historical sites –The City of Salamis, an ancient city that unravels for about a mile along the shore, with an amazing amphitheatre and gymnasium as well as Othello’s Tower. You’ll also have the opportunity to wander around the old town with its Venetian walls and Gothic churches and take in panoramic views of the so-called “Ghost Town” of Famagusta -the once bustling holiday resort was abandoned during the Turkish invasion of 1974, and has remained sealed behind barbed wire barricades ever since. Your guide will fill you in with all the facts and figures.
Inclusions: Guiding,, Transport,, Border Admin fees, Lunch in Constantinos Beach
Exclusions: Tips,, Personal Expenses
The tour was private and very modified due to COVID. It really was more of a driver versus a tour, we got to see everything we wanted and our driver was very pleasant - but it was an unusual tour in these very unusual times.

An amazing experience with lovely guides. We took the tour on our first day in Larnaca and it helped us to get to know the central area better. Also, Louisa provided us with a list of restaurants and traditional dishes that help us eat in good restaurants in the following days of the trip. Highly recommended, money well spent!!

We are 2 siblings that we want to offer to people the experience of cruising Cyprus like locals. We are both teachers for several years and we love to discover new places and new experiences. We both studied in the States and now we permanently live in Cyprus. We started doing these tours with friends and family from abroad and we decided to try out with tourists. We can organize private customized tours based on your needs. We keep groups small in order to offer a more personalized experience. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience in Cyprus we are your people. Kind regards The Daniels

We visited the zoo the other day, it has most animals you could think off, they seemed well kept for the most part, a zookeeper mark allowed us to get a once in a lifetime photo with a giraffe, and you could tell he cared deeply about the animals, thought it was a great day out. We did think the monkey enclosures could be bigger and were a little on the small side, again with the birds and the ostriches. But other than that, the majority of the animals seemed to have big time enclosures and plenty of space to roam. And they are all rescue animals from what I understood, so have deffo got a better quality of life. I wouldn’t eat there though we went to the cafe which had run out of hand sanitiser when we entered, so we informed the staff, but then when we left it still hadn’t been refilled which during corona times is quite irresponsible. But if you like going to the zoo, take your own lunch and hand sanitiser and you will have a good day out ????
