As a family with teenagers, it is always a challenge to find an activity that will be entertaining for all. Although they are not history enthusiasts, my kids said that this tour was the best day of our stay in Belgium (1 week). They especially liked the tour guide, Jamal and his dry sense of humour. Jamal was able to point out funny historical details, do little games with the group and make recommendations on restaurants and activities. He made all the difference. Thanks Jamal for this wonderful (rainy) day! Things to be improved: we should have taken a tour for only 1 city. If you like to stroll in leisurely in the city, visit museums, etc., the tour is a bit fast paced and won't allow you to shop, visit independently museums and historic buildings. Also, you'll be paired with Spanish groups going on the bus. Not the best logistical arrangements. However, the price is well worth it. 10/10 would do again.

One of the best tours I had for quite a while! I was lucky enough to be in a group that was guided by Alba. Her knowledge, energy and ability to explain everything in a clear manner helps us understand everything about this city from the roots of the “Dam” to the architecture of the buildings. Good value for money!

This is an extremely well done tour. The drive was smooth, and the guide was very skilled. She had a great deal of knowledge about all the locations, and did a fantastic job of both informing and organizing the group. We got just enough time at each location to thoroughly experience it. I highly recommend it!

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit bustling Amsterdam! Once you have crossed the border, you will admire pastoral polder landscapes and a multitude of windmills. Upon arrival in Amsterdam we visit a local crafts center where you see the production of traditional cheeses and clogs . Time for a short photo break near a traditional quaint Dutch windmill. We drive on to the heart of Amsterdam, passing the Dutch National Bank and the former Heineken brewery museum. This is an unforgettable way to discover the old city and it is undoubtedly the number one attraction of Holland’s capital. Next stop: we take you to Amsterdam’s most famous square called the “DAM”. The guide takes you on a brief guided walk to the Royal Palace and other highlights of the city. Then it is time for some free time. Stroll along the shopping streets, visit the flower market, walk on your own through the historical Red Light District. Just enjoy!

This tour is one of our bestsellers! Luxemburg is certainly a modern and vibrant city with a rich history and impressive modern and ancient architecture. To our own surprise our guests seem to value very much the little town of Dinant which they proclaim to be very “typical Belgian, surprisingly picturesque and unbelievably interesting”. It is indeed the town of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone and the cradle of the Leffe beer.

This was the poorest experience we have had anywhere in the world on these tours and we’ve been to over 20 countries and used these in all that have them. It began with the bus driver and his attitude was arrogant despite us grappling with the language and a toddler. He let us purchase tickets at 12.30pm knowing the bus tours advertise until 4pm so we thought it would be still decent value if we got two lines in before it shut down for the day. Half way through the tour of one line we ask about another line and he informs us it shuts at 2.30pm. We then go to get off (he stated the tour we did was 1hr 20mins - it was much longer and we ended up back at the end point just after 2.30pm and unable to to get more seen for the day - €50 or $82 AUD well spent on one pathetic tour. Would have been cheaper and more pleasant to hire a cab around the city. When we asked the bus driver he just said “you have to come back tomorrow bye now”. Easier said than done when you have a toddler and a train to catch to Bruges to a ferry back to the UK. I get we didn’t give ourselves a lot of time but to not be able to squeeze two tours in 3.5hrs is a bit poor on their part when we planned it around their advertised times and to have it cut short by 1.5hrs and then have our adjoining bus leave on time even though our line was running over 20mins late is average at best
When porting in Zeebrugge (Bruges port) we all want to get off and discover the sights and delights of Bruge. There is no better way to do this than sampling the famous Belgium chocolate whilst having free time to see Bruge centre enjoying its charm and shopping. Join our R=return Bruges shuttle and Chocolate factory with museum experience.
