The Canadian Historical Aircraft Association is located in the main hangar of the old No. 7 Elementary Flying Training School at the southwest corner of Windsor International Airport. We feature Avro Lancaster and de Havilland Mosquito restoration projects, 2 flying DHC-1 Chipmunks, a Boeing Stearman and North American Harvard as well as static displays of a Fleet Fawn and CT-133 Silver Star. Visit our museum archive room and gift shop.
We had a wonderful visit to create a very inexpensive couple of hours of fun. My son (8) and I (29) went to visit the Museum and were treated to a personal guided tour with experienced staff. In my opinion the place looks a lot like a mechanics hanger as well as a historic museum and functions to teach both theory of flight, mechanics of flight, and history of military in the area. Great for tourist and Windsorites alike.

Established in 1918, this small yet popular park is home to a variety of trees and birds.
There is so much to do here, I can’t list it all. Every time we come here we always have fun. Whether it is walking on the boardwalk in the marsh, walking to the tip of The Point, riding our bikes along the bike path, visiting the Visitor Center or playing on the beach, we ALWAYS Have a great time here. Our next activity (hopefully) will be to stay here overnight in one of their oTENTik structures.

Learn about the birth of Canadian Club whisky and the history of Hiram Walker. You will experience a guided tour through the original 1894 office building, a replica of a 16th Century Italian Renaissance Palace, highlighting the periods of the Prohibition Era. We’ll visit the Speakeasy and see where the gangster meetings took place, the boardroom that now features group of seven paintings, and the sampling room that outlines our key markets. The tour also includes a formal whisky tasting.

We almost felt guilty as it was only just over $3 to get in. The staff are so pleased to teach you all about the history of this fort and how life was back in the 1800's Everyone is in costume and living as they would have back then. Great place to visit.

If you haven't visited Jackson Park in Windsor, Ontario Canada...on the corner of Tecumseh Rd and Ouelette St., then you must visit before Jan 7th. The Park is a must walk thru with loved ones and children...stroll thru the thousands if glittering lights and festive decor. Walk thru the dreamy lit tunnels while walking hand in hand with your loved ones. Also take a stop at the many booths for gifts, hot chocolate and other creative items. Don't forget to take pics and video of this amazing experience. You can have that feeling of Christmas Joy forever. You only have 5 days left to feel like a kid walking in a fantasy world...no time like now to go. See you all at the Park...Jackson Park.
