Great walking trails! We walked around among the cypress trees and enjoyed the sounds. No swimming right now so the noise level was great and we could enjoy just watching the water.

A nice drive from Blanco to Wimberley or San Marcos. The first time i saw it, it took my breath away, but over the last twenty or so years, i forget to be mesmerized by it sometimes. There's just a couple of miles that make it worthwhile and there's a rest area at the most scenic part overlooking the valley.

20+ Year old olive orchard that presses fresh oil each year in the Fall. Also home to a small artisan vineyard. Tasting room offers olive oils, balsamic and wine tasting.
We had a great time on the tour and sampling the different types of olive oil and wine. The focus is definitely on the olive oil and the history behind it, and only the last 10 minutes of the tour involved the wine tasting, but we knew that going in. The owner is super knowledgeable about the history and process behind making olive oil and we enjoyed everything we tasted.
