SUPing is one of the fastest growing water sports and for good reason – it’s not only lots of fun it’s also very easy to learn. Rent from a great variety of stand up paddle boards to suit your needs or learn the art of SUPing in our lessons for a range of skill levels or tour the gorgeous Rockingham waters on a Stand Up Paddleboard ! As avid paddlers, we want you to experience the joy of being on the water that we live for, whether it be for fitness, racing, surfing or fun with family and friends. Our lessons are led by a small group of instructors who are Australian Surfing qualified, very professional, friendly and passionate about SUPing. They will ensure you have a safe and fun experience while enjoying the beautiful landscape and marine life at Rockingham. You may even see a dolphin on one of our lessons. We want you to love the sport as much as we do… and lessons with WASUP are a fantastic way to be introduced to the sport. Our lessons include one hour and a half of instructions and general hire, they are designed to make sure you get the most of your paddle board experience. Lessons run from October through to May and remember all age, size and fitness levels are capable of getting involved in this great sport. Palm Beach is a safe, calm, north-facing beach in Rockingham, ideal for families. Beach access matting is installed to the west of the jetty between October and April, provideing assistance for many people, including people with disability, seniors, and parents with prams to get from the main footpath onto the sand.

Located in the spectacular Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, just 45 minutes south of Perth is Penguin Island- a beautiful, unspoilt nature reserve home to WA's largest colony of little penguin as well as dolphins, sea lions, stingrays, pelicans, ospreys and more. Visitors can see the penguins being fed by rangers at the Discovery Centre. It's also fantastic for swimming, snorkelling, having a picnic or just enjoying some of the best coastal scenery in Perth. Rockingham Wild Encounters operate an hourly ferry service to Penguin Island (it's only a 5 minute ride), glass bottom boat cruises of Shoalwater Bay and adventure style cruises to watch the local dolphins and explore more of the marine park.
