Sandwiched between the Indian Ocean and a mountain backdrop, Port Louis blends Mauritius modernity and tradition. The Caudan Waterfront entices shoppers with fashion, local crafts and live entertainment. Domaine les Pailles, with its 18th-century ox-driven sugar mill and colonial architecture, houses a new casino. Seek out the capital city's vast Bazaar, built in 1828, for spices, souvenirs and a lunch of fried noodles. For great views, hike the pedestrians-only road up Signal Mountain.

While you enjoy the show, our fully dedicated Crown Lodge team will do everything possible to make your wish come true. Sit back and enjoy the variety of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and local snacks offered throughout the day. Transfer from and back to your hotel or place of residence. Access to our private VIP box, access to a private teller, all Inclusive.
One of the absolute highlights of our honeymoon in Mauritius was a Sunday afternoon spent at The Crown Lodge. Jerome and his team hosted the day superbly - the drinks were kept flowing and plenty of tasty canapes were served throughout. More importantly there was a great atmosphere among all the guests and a perfect view of the finishing post. From a UK couple who have been to race courses all over the country, this is NOT one to be missed! Thanks to everyone for an awesome day out!

We are offering individual excursions and outdoor experiences for couples and small groups. Among those are dolphin trips and swimming (all year round), whale watching (depending on the season). We are normally the first to drive out to the dolphins. We have guided hikes on the Le Morne Brabant, Black River Peak, in the Sept Cascades waterfalls) along the south coast and many other natural attractions. You can of course also book with us normal driven tours around the island. The vans and taxis we are booking are new and having a safe driver. It is important for us to keep it authentic and in small groups. We also have a no shop policy means that we are not visiting any shops along the road unless you want to do so.

Marcus during one day trip thought the south of Mauritius has show me and my wife the most beautiful places of this part of island. He drove us to the most common places, show less known but still beautiful. As a guide he has knowledge about the past and actual state of Mauritius - its wery worthy to ask him a lot of questions! As a person he is very nice, smile and helpful and i'm sure you'll enjoy travel with him!

We climbed Le pouce from Le Dauguet, it’s longer that staring from petit verger. It’s a constant climb from sea level up to 712 meters. At the summit you can magnificent views of Port Louis and the central region, Better use a guide if you choose this route. The descent was way except you have to be very careful if it rains as the pathway can be very slippery.

Located in an 18th century building, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the creators of the Museum. This modern waterfront shopping and entertainment complex in Port Louis features a wide array of shops, restaurants, 4- and 5- Start hotels, a casino, movie theatres, a history museum, a craft market and a marina and it hosts regular live street entertainment.
If you are in Mauritius and miss some shopping there you are this place was my shopping mall, was my shopping oasis... (I work in the mall and I miss people shops and shopping)... pricey oasis...the place is across the street from local market where you find all most the same items like there but normal to cheap price, if you dare... The waterfront is clean, fancy, and cosmopolitan compare with local market.I liked the idea with the umbrella hanging, casino, bars, and restaurants, finally some clean nice restaurants.
