What an extraordinary gallery! The exhibitions are cutting edge and well-curated. And Alex is an absolute delight -- knowledgable, helpful but not overbearing.

There isn't a better wine experience on the North Fork than Sannino. The new location has such a warming and inviting atmksphere, the staff is always very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Plus, you'll always see the Anthony and Lisa walking around and visiting with their guests. You always feel like you're part of the family when you visit. Plus, most importantly, the wines are amazing. What more could you ask for! Great wines, great location and great people! Five stars across the board for us.

Great state park on the eastern end of the North Fork of LI. It has a nice beach on Gardiner's Bay, a bathhouse with showers and toilets, picnic tables and a play ground. Since there are trees there, you can sit in shadded areas if you are not a big fan of the sun. I went there to kayak in Hallock Bay which is a protected bay with about six miles of shoreline You can also rent kayaks there. if you bring your own kayak, make sure to stop by the rental shop to get the low down on kayaking at the park.

A beautiful setting that my daughter chose for her wedding this coming Summer. What a nice vineyard to find on the North Fork. Family run and family friendly. Small but intimate tasting room. After our tastings, I always buy bottles to enjoy at home.

Located in East Marion NY, Lavender by the Bay has been growing the highest quality lavender on Long Island for more than 15 years. We offer seasonal fresh cut bunches, dried lavender, lavender plants, lavender sachets and crafts, and honey from our own beehives. During our blooms there is an entry fee into the fields. This fee goes towards the upkeep and preservation of the beauty, form, and peaceful nature of our farm. We’ve released a limited amount of field tickets for both our Calverton ($10) and East Marion ($12) locations. Tickets can be purchased on our site. The lavender is typically in bloom mid/late June through mid-July, but is ultimately up to Mother Nature.
Wow! We had no idea this place existed until we did some research before our first visit to North Fork! It was a hot day, but the fields were gorgeous. They do a real nice job of having walking pathways, creative seating, and some shaded areas. They also sell some of their plans and lavender items. Would highly recommend - bring your camera!!
