It's been a while since either of us has been on a range and we really enjoyed ourselves here, we went for package 2 so got half an hour on each range and were even able to get pictures (safely taken of course). The staff were really friendly and had a great time. We definitely recommend coming here whether you are new to shooting or not.

60 minutes to work together as a team to solve a series of clues and puzzles in order to complete the objective and escape from a locked room. Take on a diamond heist in Professor Enright's Enigma, solve a murder and kidnapping in Death on Dartmoor, or go back to 1942 and save Devon from possible German occupation in D-Day for Devon. Will you manage it in time?

A traditional cider bar selling mainly Cider, Perry, Fruit Wine & Mead. The building itself dates back to circa 1744, and affiliated with the sale of cider since the 1900's, a visit to Ye Olde Cider Bar is a step back in time. An historic landmark of Newton Abbot and popular with locals as well as visitors from the UK and across the world. We stock a fantastic array of around 30 ciders, sourced from local & independent cider producers, as well as some well known favourites from Thatchers and Westons. With a great choice on offer, there is sure to be a cider to suit everyone! We also offer over 30 fruit wines & meads. Delicious by themselves or very popular as a cooler! Our cider cocktails are a big hit! For non-cider/wine drinkers we have a local lager and some spirits. If you find your favourite - we also offer cider and wine to 'take-away'! Bar snacks - Cheese and Ham Rolls - Hot Pies and Pasties - Pork pies - Off sales
My partner and I are touring pubs in the heritage pub guide. We were told about the cider bar by friendly strangers in the Luppitt Inn near Honiton last year. We booked a table through Facebook and arrived at 7:45. The pub is very spacious and has an old time feel. There is a lovely bar area with hanging glasses and large barrels. We spent a couple of hours here on a Tuesday drinking specialist ciders and fruit wines. The lady working behind the bar was an absolute gem and made some great recommendations. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely return.

Such a fabulous renovation of an historic and iconic building, now hosting the town's museum. We were guided throughout our visit by the lovely Val, who was both informative and passionate about Newton Abbot and actively encouraged us to emerse ourselves in the whole sensory experience. Our son especially loved the interactive railway history and wants a return visit, top marks for a 10 year old! Thank you to all who made this a reality.

We visited on a Sunday in mid November. It was lovely to walk around the lake in the autumn warm sunshine, surrounded by beautiful tall trees that are wearing their golden, orange and red coats. We loved a leisurely Sunday walk in the park, breathing sweet scented air, watching and feeding ducks and swans, and observing squirrels from the special aireal walkway observation platform. So, take your kids, grannies and dogs, put on your wellies, pack up your lunch, and head to the stover park for a a weekend afternoon out with your family. And don’t forger a loaf of bread to feed the ducks and swans, and nuts for squirrels! Also the ducks love sunflower seeds as we have discovered today! Enjoy the photos that I have posted here. WELCOME TO AUSTINS Austins is an independent department store in Newton Abbot, Devon. Handsome, inspiring and pleasant to walk around – like all good department stores should be. We’re very proud of our heritage and, as a family-run business, we’re exceptionally proud of the store today and what it has become from its humble beginnings. Come and spend the day with us, we think you’ll find more than you expected.
This is an excellent department store. So often I have trailed round Exeter looking for a special outfit only to be disappointed but then I fall back on Austin's in my home town and wondered why I bothered looking anywhere else. Traditional service but modernised stores all within a few minutes of each other. The toy shop is one of the best in Devon and there is a good range of clothing and homewares for all tastes. Sensibly priced too.

This is our second visit and they certainly do a great Sunday carvery with a choice of four meats and plenty of veg and roasties . If you have yet to try don't be put off because it's a golf club as the restaurant and bar is open to the general public and it's very popular They do children size portions and we think it's very reasonable . The restaurant has some great views of the surrounding grounds and it's not posh it's just a great restaurant with great food

Campsite owners were delightful and very helpful when booking - The campsite is off the beaten track but easy to find with a sat nav and not far from Newton Abbot - We stayed in one of the cottages overlooking the fields which was so peaceful ! The cottage itself was absolutely lovely , everything you needed to make it home from home including a dishwasher and a washing machine , bedding , towels , tea towels , also we got some cake , eggs and milk on our arrival , such a lovely gesture ! WiFi was absolutely brilliant too ! - This is a working farm but you would never of thought it as it was so peaceful , the only noise was the cows in the morning having a good ole mooo - the rest of the site was lovely and clean and there is even an outdoor pool to enjoy in the warmer months - This is definitely worth a stay either in one of the lovely cottages or camping which ever you prefer - lots of things to do around Devon , beautiful beaches , lovely walks and lovely places to visit !
