Despite having provided the backdrop to several Hollywood films, Mansfield manages to keep its all-American small town vibe. Its charming Main Street and Historic Carrousel District boast unique shops, galleries and an antique hand-carved carousel. The landmark Ohio State Reformatory has been the setting to several films, including The Shawshank Redemption and Air Force One. Mansfield's action-packed racing scene thrives at Mansfield Motorsports Park and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Well researched and displayed. This museum has integrity and a sound theological base. Even serious students of the Bible and church history will find it informative and inspiring, unlike the gaudy and off-putting Creation Museum in Kentucky. The museum offers several self-guided tours and one can spend 3 hours or just an hour there. Plus there are odd Bible paraphernalia from across the globe. Don’t be put off by the bleached out silk flowers and older carpeting. . . This museum is well worth stopping in.

A historic estate and garden which features 47 acres of landscaped gardens, greenhouses, hiking trails, and tours of the mansion. We hold many events, including corporate rentals, weddings and parties, Garden Club events, children's events, and community events such as Pumpkin Glow and Christmas at Kingwood.
We toured the gardens and the estate on a Saturday morning right after opening. The gardens are immaculately kept and the mansion was interesting to see. We were there about two hours but could have easily stayed longer if we didn’t have tickets already for another attraction that afternoon. Well worth the visit and very affordable!

Little Buckeye Children's Museum is a hands-on children's museum located in Downtown Mansfield. With over 2 dozen exhibits, Little Buckeye is an ideal location for group and family visits by children ages 2-10 years. At Little Buckeye, we know that exploration and play are critical to child development. We also know that play benefits children socially, emotionally and intellectually! We understand that not every child gets the opportunity to play in a safe and creative environment. Little Buckeye Children's Museum is proud to provide that opportunity. Our museum features interactive exhibits that encourage curiosity and creativity. You can shop for groceries in the Little Stoodt's Market, perform on stage at the Little Ren Theatre, play teacher in the one-room Schoolhouse, go camping in the Nature Room and so much more!
Such a great place to let kids play and use their imagination. Several kids areas on two floors that will keep the kids occupied for hours. Visited here on President Day and it was busy but the space was large enough to accommodate the crowds. Stayed for 2 hours and would have stayed longer if it wasn’t for other plans we had. My daughter wanted to keep performing on the stage (her favorite play area of them all) It’s 9 dollars a person and some would say its expensive. I would disagree with that. For the amount of play areas you get, the price is worth it. Plus seeing your child play and use their imagination is worth it. Highly recommend this place for kids especially on a rainy or winter day.

We had a wonderful time at the Ohio Bird Sanctuary. My wife and I brought our 2 teenagers and they loved it. We attended the presentation and learned about one of the resident owls. We walked through the bird displays, fed the birds in the aviary and walked one of the hiking trails. Picnic tables are available on the grounds. A couple things to keep in mind when visiting-the gates close at 4, so time everything right. Admission to the bird areas is 3 dollars/adult and 1 dollar/child, plus a quarter per cup to feed the birds in the aviary.

Really interesting and well maintained trails. Great for all levels of hiking. There were tons of old structure to find, bodies of water and landmarks to explore. Beware of dogs off leash though there were many and not all friendly.

We popped in to grab a treat and ended up buying quite a bit! BBQ sauce, dried tart cherries, Chorizo, an Apple Fritter, a pc of coconut pineapple cake, a jar of queso and a few other goodies.
