This beach is sheltered from the howling South-Westerlies common in summer. Clean sand and water that remains shallow for a good 50m out. Floating pontoon to jump off.

Silver sands apartments are spacious with good size kitchenette, washing machine and dryer. The bed is large and comfortable. There are lots of onsite facilities, BBQs, pools, spas, sauna, tennis & squash courts & games room. It is situated just outside Mandurah's main shopping and restaurant centre and a car is needed to access these. There is a small shopping centre and a few good restaurants and take-aways opposite and a tavern next door.

The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre is one of Australia's premier regional performing and visual arts centres. Mandurah is located south of Perth and is now less than one-hour's travel from the City by road or by high speed train. Mandurah Art Gallery. The Centre is designed around magnificent glassed foyer areas, which offer sweeping waterfront views and includes the 800-seat Boardwalk Theatre, 144-seat Fishtrap Theatre and the Alcoa The Centre presents a diverse range of live theatre, drama, dance, music and comedy shows, including local, state and national performances.
We have travelled down from Perth a number of times to attend performances at MANPAC. The venue is easy to locate and parking is plentiful. Accommodation is within a few minutes walk to the centre. We found the booking staff very helpful and the seating at all parts of the centre provides an unobstructed view of the stage. The centre attracts an excellent range of touring groups and artists and we have not had a disappointing performance yet. Well recommended.
