Bodega Hacienda del Plata

Pablo, who comes from a traditional Argentinean family, with roots in ranching and agriculture, together with María Laura Toso, whose family name is a protagonist in the Mendoza viticultural industry, provide constant encouragement to their children in the continuation of the family business: Vinos & Hacienda S.A., which encompasses the following principal family activities: -"Hacienda del Plata" winery and vineyards are where Juan Pablo, Rosario and Inés, pour their time, energy and creativity in pursuit off the personality of their wines. -"El Inicio", is a cattle ranch in the province of Córdoba, where Nicolás channels his resources and energy to create a sustainable dairy focused on obtaining the highest quality of milk together with a new venture: the production of "Sampacho" fine cheeses. The family unites its blood, strength and passion. Time, patience and tradition are the masters of excellence. The span of years tell the story... nothing is easy. María Laura and Pablo renew the importance of family strength in their children and respective families. They urge them to risk and challenge themselves in the search of their goals, to contemplate those who are on the road with them and keep them by their side, to appreciate and be thankful for all they receive, and above all else to maintain the high values and principles that guided their own ancestors.

I went to Renacer on a private tour and had a great experience. The guide at the site was a friendly, smiling woman who showed me and two other visitors their cellars and landscaped grounds as well as vineyards, and also sat down with me for a tasting of three of their wines. It was a memorable experience in a beautiful setting.

Bodega Cruzat. Bubbles Experience

Cruzat is a winery intended only for the production of quality sparkling wines, produced using the traditional method or "champenoise" (second fermentation in the bottle). The winery was founded in 2004 by a group of Chilean businessmen and by Argentinian Agricultural Engineer and Winemaker Pedro Federico Rosell. WINE TOURISM The experience of knowing this "factory of sparkling" goes beyond a tour and tasting. From the winery we strive for visitors to learn, identify and compare with other elaborations and process. The production area is open to our curious visitors; you can see and sometimes work at the cellar, the disgorging machine and label some bottles. The tasting room is oriented to the Andes Mountain and vineyards. We propose that our visitors enjoy and learn from what we do every day.

Our tour by Ampora Wine Tours started at Cassone. The winery tour was great and they seemed to use the interests of our group to focus on the aspects that were most interesting to us. After tasting four of their wines we were super impressed with their operation and passion for their work. A+!

This little gem was a great experience even with my 2 kids. We arrived and had lunch with the most amazing food and wine at a very good price. The man servering us (Daniel) was able to explain in Spanish and English and gave great attention to our kids and took them to feed the fish in the pond they have. His service was outstanding. After a quick lay in the hammocks outside then off to a wonderful tour with Freddie who's English was very good and the tour was so informative. Nothing was too much and they even called taxis for us to get home. Super recommendable ..

We were lucky enough to be introduced to this gentleman and his wine in 2017. Tonight, we celebrated a milestone but sadly finished the last bottle we brought back from our trip. The whole experience of visiting Bodega Carmelo Patti proved to be one of the greatest highlights on the best vacation we've ever taken. Carmelo is authentic, earnest, and friendly. He crafts incredible wine that tastes all the better because you feel like he's an old friend and that you're part of his family within minutes of arriving. This is a spot worth seeking out if you're in or near Mendoza, and if you enjoy wine, look for a bottle wherever you can find it. You won't be disappointed.

Visiting Benegas Winery ... it is right on the road, so to speak, compared to others where the winery is tucked away far off the main road, surrounded by vineyards. This winery is on the main road. First impressions just from the looks can be very deceiving. A relatively very small winery, producing 300K bottles. They make quality, premium wines the old-fashioned way. And boy, are they excellent!!! The guide was excellent, with a excellent command of English, the winery, and on the wine making process. Was blown away by the wines!!!

This is a large winery located just 30 minutes outside of the downtown area of Mendoza. The grounds are beautiful and the winery itself is state for the art. However, they also use many of the older processes to produce their wines. The cellar is amazing and provides a great ambiance for tasting of their better wines. If you have a chance take a tour of the old house as well. The wines are very good and the tour guide, Miguel, was fantastic. I would love to do this tour again if I come back to Mendoza!!
